1) Ad of job vacancy on Hilton Tlelo.


- Hilton lobby collects data. HR Manager downloads the Dara > screening with HOD >
Interview & Negotiation > Approval by GM
2) Budget for a year > forecast vacancy > replace people who left > hiring for extra work force
as the work load or projects increase
- Use of Hilton Tlelo and LinkedIn for hiring. Also walk in interviews and
recommendations by other employees.
3) Posting of job profile > screening > check experience & requirement > Interview by HOD &
HR > for higher designation like AM & Executive > Interview by GM & final approval of all
appointments by GM.
4) No forms. Questions on Hilton Tlelo and probation of 6 months.

Training and Development

1) On the job training > Hilton lobby > Hilton university.


- Different training for different team members. Oreku training i.e. how to access
check ins and check outs. Grooming, Hilton code of conduct, first aid, fire & safety.
- Off the job training > online training program.

Grievances Management

1) Depends on the Grievances. Report to security team, GM, HR, HOD. Teams
members are asked about the Grievances. Checking cctv.
- No action until full investigation

Speak with the employee about the Grievance > team member/ employee to write
about it > document it > then Action > first warning, second warning, third warning
resulting in termination.

Performance Management

1) HR dept & Finance dept. Finance dept checks for taxation and if the budget is
followed.
2) Attendance software ( name not mentioned) based on number of days worked
3) 6 Weekly off. Leaves are transferable. Must inform manager about leave 15 days
in advance.

Other day to day activities or other facilities

1) No transportation facilities. But cab service for employees especially women working
overnight.
- Girls accommodation. ¾ th rent paid by hotel.
