NSN Lookup Service
Introduction
If a customer uses a Service which is not related to a TDM Voice Service from
Swisscom and he wants to change his PTS it can be quite difficult to get the
necessary information to do it
Example
Endcustomer has a BBCS Naked connection and wants to change his provider. For
a qualification the NSN is needed but the endcustomer only knows his VoIP
number
Telephone (VoIP) number is still the mainly used number
NSN is normally not communicated towards the endcustomer
Possibilities
New Provider asks the actual PTS
New Provider uses NSN lookup Service of Service Desk Wholesale

For these customers it is crucial that
they will have a short downtime of there communication equipment
they know exactly when the migration takes place
Due to these reasons we modified the migration process from BBCS SDSL to BBCS
VDSL so that the start and the end of the fulfilment time slot can be seen in
advance
