Encuentro intercultural con una película - Ocho Apellidos Vascos

I have seen this movie for my last two years that I was studying in the British
School of Bucharest as it was in the syllabus of the course for A-Level. It's a
beautiful rom-com movie that discusses the cultural differences between País Vasco
and Andalucía as two of the regions of Spain, through comedian acts, romance and
loads of jokes, both from País Vasco and Andalucía. I think an important cultural
aspect for this movie that personally, for me, it separates it away from the others
is the fact that it can be seen both by speakers and non-speakers of the Spanish
language. Also, the jokes and the cultural aspects presented for both of the
regions that are shown through photos, graffiti, dialects, makes the whole
storyline be more interactive with the viewers and I think that's a critical aspect
for a movie. I would have to say, that even though I never went to Spain, I
understood the whole movie perfectly because of how Emilio Martínez Lázaro, the
director of the movie, planned everything out.
