Letter of Agreement

Dear Mr./Ms. Madjidul,

This refers to the National Arts and Crafts Fair (NACF) that will be held at the Megatrade
Hall, SM Megamall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City on October 24-27, 2019, organized
by the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotions (DTI-
BDTP).

The NACF is a biannual event led by the DTI-BDTP which aims to help Filipino Micro,
Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) by providing a venue to promote and market their
products, not only to the public but also to trade partners. This, in turn, will provide business
opportunities and increased employment.

To fulfill the aim of the Assistance to Artisans (ATA) Program to assist the production and
promotion of Filipino artisans, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts
(NCCA) is welcoming this agreement with Almanis Native Tausug Embroidery and shall
be reimbursing the travel expenses of the organization as a grantee of the aforementioned
program.

The amount shall be used for the group representatives’ transportation, daily food budget,
and accommodation.

As such, below are the terms and conditions with regard to this undertaking.

The NCCA shall:

 Reimburse the travel expenses of a maximum of two (2) group representatives upon
compliance/submission of the following applicable documents:

a. Travel expense papers such as:

i. Transportation
1. Itinerary
2. Boarding Pass
3. Trip tickets/Bus tickets
4. Taxi/Grab receipt
5. Reimbursement Expense Receipt
ii. Food
1. Official receipt
2. Acknowledgement receipt
iii. Accommodation
1. Official receipt
b. Attendance and participation report
c. Sales report
d. Photos

 2. Draft a Letter of Agreement that would be agreeable for both parties.

Consequently, Almanis Native Tausug Embroidery is expected to:

1. Submit a report after the event which must contain the document requirements for
reimbursement and other required narratives
2. Comply with the NCCA and Commission on Audit rules and regulations and ATA
guidelines

Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this agreement for any
delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions
beyond its control including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, wars,
insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose
performance is affected (including mechanical, electronic, or communications failure).

Should you be amenable to the terms stated above, please affix your signature on the space
provided below to signify your concurrence.
