GENERAL COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Squash Cinnamon Cookies is a manufacturer of a unique product that offers

delicious and health-benefit product to its customers and consumers. It is located at

Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. This business offers a product that is new and

innovative to the market. Every choice and decision that a business takes, will be

guided by its vision, mission, goals, and objectives. The business is made from a

general partnership.

Vision

To become a world-class product that can compete into local and

international market and provide more opportunities for raw material providers. A

product that will enhance the physical and economic welfare of consumers.

Mission

Squash Cinnamon Cookies offers healthy, affordable, and vegetable-based

alternatives for customers, promoting well-being and aiming for company success

and employee prosperity.

Goals

Squash Cinnamon Cookies is dedicated to manufacturing and sustaining a

delectable snack in the municipality of Kapalong by putting together and presenting a

trustworthy product to the customer. Additionally, maintaining an excellent

relationship with the customer and consumer will help improve the image of the

business.

Objectives
 To increase sales by 5% annually to sustain the business operation.

 To produce an additional innovative product/s in the business.

 To give job opportunities to the locals by having another branch in nearby

municipalities.

 To consider employees as our assets.

 To compete in the market on quality behavior and not on price strategies.

 To increase the capital investment after 5 years.

Business Philosophy

Squash Cinnamon Cookies is committed to providing customers with

mouthwatering flavor experiences, cost-effective, and healthy product alternatives.

The company aspires to be a striving, developing business. Additionally, the

company aims to build relationships with its workers, supporting and pushing them to

attain their full potential and improve their standard of living.

Legal Forms of Owner

Squash Cinnamon Cookies is a partnership business where the five (5)

partners will contribute money, labor, and/or skills to the business. The business will

start with P500,000.00, which will be distributed equally among the five

entrepreneurs. Each of the partners will contribute a set of expertise to the business's

foundation. The partners will jointly divide all operating expenses and profits equally,

as well as any business losses. The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) will

provide information to the business partners regarding costs and other requirements,

including reserving and registering with DTI, obtaining a certificate of product

registration from the FDA, barangay approval from the mayor's office, a business

permit, and registration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Description of the Products and Services

Squash and Cinnamon Cookies is a cookie infused with squash that is coated

in cinnamon and sugar and baked. It is a healthy, affordable snack that offers better

nutrition and affordability while addressing the health risks associated with regular

cookies. This aims to promote nutritious and convenient food products for customers

to enjoy while doing their daily activities.

Competitive Advantage

The competitive advantage of the business is that it is the only selling cookie

in the market, which means that our business is a monopoly market.

MARKETING PLAN

Market Research

The study was conducted through face-to-face survey to the people who lived

in Barangay Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. The proponents used survey

questionnaires in gathering data to the target market of the business. The result of

the survey indicates that the target market will buy the products offered by the

business. Moreover, the proponents conducted the said survey with their 100

respondents who lived in Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte where the business

located. The survey yielded a positive outcome, in which 88% of the total

respondents are willing to buy our product as it is affordable and new to the market.

Figure 1 shows based on the survey, 88% of the total respondents will buy

the products while the 12% prefer not to buy. A high proportion indicates that many

people will purchase the product, which is a good opportunity to operate the

business. As a result, customers will tend to buy Squash Cinnamon Cookies.

Figure 2 shows that based on the survey, from 88% of the total respondents,

74% are students, 10% are self-employed, 6% are government employees and 10%

are private employees.

Figure 3 shows that based on the survey, from 88% of the total respondents

who opted to buy the products, 3% have a monthly income of 15,001 above, 13%

have a monthly income of 10,001 above but not more than 15,000, 6% have a

monthly income of 5,001 above but not more than 10,000, and 78% have a monthly

income of 5,000 below. Based on the data, the target customer has a capacity to

avail the products.

Figure 5 shows the total percentage of the target market in terms of their

frequency of buying the products. Out of 88% who are willing to buy Squash

Cinnamon Cookies, 34.1% are willing to buy 2-3 times a week, 10.2% are willing to

buy every day, 42% willing to buy once a week and 13.6% who buy once a month. It

shows that the data presented above will help the business to estimate how many

products to prepare within a week or a month in order to avoid shortage or exceed of

supply.
