DYNAMICS:

1. The competition is open to all YFC members.


2. There should be one (1) entry per Sector/Area. All Sectors should confirm their entry on or
before May 13,2011. (The official entry should be signed by the YFC Over-all Sector Couple
Coordinator/Sector Head to ensure that representatives are certified YFC members).
3. Each team will be composed of 5 members (2 Brother, 2 Sisters and 1 Coordinator).
4. The first team to complete the task wins the race.
5. All players are required to wear proper attire while playing.
6. Participating teams must be physically fit enough to go through the race. Players with health
problems (e.g. asthma, heart ailment, etc) are discouraged to play. The competitions committee
will not be held liable incase such incidents happen.
7. All participants must wear their conference ID for security purposes.
8. Each team must locate the courses. Asking questions from the marshals are strictly prohibited.
9. It is the group’s responsibility to signify their presence one hour before the competition.

Coordinator’s JAM( BASKETBALL)

DYNAMICS
1. This competition is open to all male CFC YFC Coordinators. Each Sector should have
one entry for this competition. All teams are required to submit their confirmed players
on or before May 13,2011
2. There will be a maximum of 6 players per team (Titos).This game will be played in a
3 vs. 3 basis.Kindly assign one (1) Couple Coordinator from your area to act as
Representative of the team.
3. Only players listed on the official line-up will be allowed to play.
4. All teams are required to be at the opening ceremonies in their sports attire if not in their
uniforms, otherwise they will be disqualified.
5. On the game proper only the players, coach and one representative are allowed to stay
on the bench in order for the game to start.
6. The scoring will be based in a street basketball game. A shot behind the three-point line
will result in TWO points only to the offensive team. A shot/lay-up/dunk inside the three-point
line will result in ONE point only to the offensive team.If a player gets a "free throw" then
each free throw is worth one point to the offensive team.(Only ONE Free throw is awarded
after a foul violation inside the ARC and TWO outside the ARC).The first team to attain 11
Points wins the game.
(The collegiate amateur rules for violations ONLY will be used).
7. To avoid delays of schedule of the Special competition committee, we will set a
synchronize time during the opening ceremonies.
8. If a team is not in the playing court on their time schedule, NO DEFAULT WILL BE
APPLIED. ONE (1) POINT PER MINUTE WILL BE DEDUCTED ON THEIR FINAL
SCORE.
9. Knockout system will be applied.
10. Any form of complain or untoward incident should be coursed through the designated
Representative to the YFC BASKETBALL COMMITTEE (composed of the PYC Head of
Competitions for Basketball, and the officials of the competition), after which if
unresolved will be forwarded to JOEY IWAY(head of YFC PYC COMPETITIONS).

COUPLE COORDINATORS GOT TALENT


DYNAMICS
1. The competition is open to all YFC Couple Coordinators.
2. There should be one entry per Sector/Area. All Sectors should confirm their entry with the title/lyrics
of the song on or before March 21, 2011. (The official list should be signed by the YFC Over-all Sector
Couple Coordinator to ensure that they are certified YFC Couple Coordinators).
3. Entries must be composed of 2-10 members. One point will be deducted for every person in excess
and/or in deficiency of the provision.
4. Each group may present anything that will showcase the talent/s of the group members.
5. The performance may last from 5-10 minutes. Time starts once group enters stage and ends after its
exit. Time starts once group enters stage and ends after its exit. Three points will be deducted from the
total score for every minute or fraction thereof in excess of the allotted time.
6. CDs should be submitted upon site arrival and confirmation otherwise they will be disqualified.
7. Costumes must be decent and proper for the performance. The COMPETITIONS
COMMITTEE reserves the right not to allow the performance of a group due to costume technicalities.
8. It is the group’s responsibility to signify their presence one hour before the competition and to
show up at least one hour before their performance.

FOR DANCE ENTRIES:


1. Entries must be composed of MIXED dancers – titos and titas (there should be more than 1
tito/tita in a group). Sector/Areas that will not comply will automatically face disqualification.
2. Dance type shall be modern-contemporary, traditional/classic dance types and/or combination
of this as long as they are expressed in the character and vibrancy of today’s youth. (Ballet & cultural will
not be considered unless they are mixed with and danced to contemporary pop and youth culture styles
of dance and music—hip hop, techno, etc.).
3. Music should be wholesome and lively. Subliminal, sexually suggestive, and vulgar
lyrics/language will not be allowed. (e.g. Birthday Sex, Take Your Shirt Off, etc.) Noncompliance
with the guideline will result in disqualification.

FOR BAND ENTRIES:


10. The band is allowed to play two (2) songs contemporary/pop secular songs or medley.
11. Each band will also be given 5 minutes sound check one hour before the entire event starts.
12. The band’s look, which includes costumes of singers and band members, must be decent and proper.
13. The Competitions Committee will provide, as part of the sound system, all amplifiers, vocal
microphones and set of drums for all competing bands. The competing bands must provide for
themselves additional instruments and other gadgets in excess need of what the organizers will be
providing, if necessary.
14. To avoid song repetition, a “first come, first serve” rule will be applied. In case of duplication,
band/s concerned will be notified immediately by the Competitions Committee in order to change their
song.
15. Only songs specified in the entry forms and approved by the Competitions Committee are allowed to
be played during the competition proper. Bands who will not comply will risk disqualification.
FOR SHOW CHOIR ENTRIES:
15. They can be a combination of singers and dancers.
16. Entries must also be composed of MIXED performers – titos and titas (there should be more
than 1 tito/tita in a group). Sector/Areas that will not comply will automatically face disqualification.
17. The members of the show choir should demonstrate the ability to sing their chosen music.
18. The members of the show choir should demonstrate the ability to add movement or
choreography to their performance that compliments the music.
19. The group may have a minus-one audio to enhance the performance integrating their skills in
dancing and singing. CDs should be submitted upon site arrival and confirmation otherwise they will be
disqualified.
20. Use of props is highly encouraged to develop the visual aspect of the performance.
21. The group can use musical hand props (eg. harmonica, tambourine, and etc) to complement the
voices. Instruments that use amplifiers (eg. guitars, keyboards, etc) and drum sets are not allowed.
22. Lyrics should be wholesome and not sexually suggestive or vulgar. The song can be in the
form of fast-paced or slow-paced pieces.
23. The song rendition should not exceed ten minutes. There will be a one-minute grace period for
entrance and another minute for the exit.
24. Costumes are highly encouraged to add up to the total performance however, it must be
decent and proper for the performance.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1. All possible contact numbers are highly needed upon deadline of confirmation
for competitions on May 13,2011. Further updates may be coursed through the
contacts available for your entry.
2. On the day of the event, upon site arrival, ALL COMPETITION ENTRIES need
to confirm their entry IMMEDIATELY at the secretariat area, through their entry
representative. NO CONFIRMATION, NO PERFORMANCE.
3. All CDs, DVDs, VCDs, or mini dvs and lyrics should be submitted at the
confirmation table, upon site arrival, otherwise the performers will be
disqualified.
4. Information such as competition venue, order and time of competition and area
of oath taking will be provided at the confirmation table.
