Physical Fitness – is the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively.

It is a state of
being that consists of five health-related and six skill related physical fitness components, each
of which contributes to total quality of life. Physical fitness helps a person avoid non-
communicable disease called hypokinetic disease or lack of physical activity or too little
regular exercise.
Philippine Physical Activity Pyramid – illustrates the different kinds of physical activities
recommended for children.
Physical Activities – refers to any movement of the body that requires energy.
Frequency – an important concept of Philippine Physical Activity Pyramid.
- It refers to the number of times that you engage in physical activities within a period of
one week.
