1. Audience Notes
a. Paper copies of slides with a space for your audience to follow along with
your presentation and take their own notes.
b. We will look at these later in this lesson.
2. Presenter Notes
a. Notes that appear on your slides but not on the presentation.
b. These can be printed but are usually not given to your audience.
Today’s Lesson
1. Add Presenter Notes
2. Open your Presentation
a. Click on View > Normal View
b. At the bottom of each slide you will find “Click to add notes”
3. Add the following notes to the slides as indicated: (Not all slides will have Presenter
notes)
a. Slide 1 : Welcome to this presentation giving you useful hints and tips on
using Microsoft PowerPoint for your IGCSE practical examinations
b. Slide 2: The presentation that you are watching had been made using
PowerPoint
c. Slide 4: Hyperlinks can be used to give different paths or to open external
websites or documents.
d. Slide 5: Graphs and charts can be added to enhance a presentation
