Azithromycin 500 mg tab INDICATION: CAP, PID, BACTERIAL CONJUCTIVITIS, Chancroid,
Uncomplicated genital infections due to Chlamydia trachomatis, Acute
bacterial sinusitis, Respiratory tract infections, Skin and soft tissue
infections
DOSAGE:
Acute bacterial sinusitis: 500 mg once daily for 3 days. As extended
release suspension: 2 g as a single dose.

Respiratory tract infections, Skin and soft tissue infections: 500 mg daily
for 3 days. Alternatively, 500 mg as single dose on day 1 followed by 250
mg daily on days 2-5.

Community-acquired pneumonia: 500 mg on day 1, followed by 250 mg


once daily on days 2-5. As extended release suspension: 2 g as a single
dose.

DOSAGE:
Hypertension: Initially, 25-50 mg daily in 2 divided doses; Once daily
dosing may be appropriate if taken with other antihypertensive agents.

Heart failure
Adult: In combination with diuretics (or with digitalis and β-blockers, when
appropriate): Initially, 6.25-12.5 mg bid or tid; may increase gradually
according to patient’s response, clinical status, and tolerability at intervals
of at least 2 weeks. Maintenance: 75-150 mg daily in divided doses.
Elderly: Initially, 6.25 mg bid. Titrate according to blood pressure
response and maintain the lowest possible dose to achieve adequate
control.

DOSAGE:
Cystitis, Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
Adult: 250 mg bid for 5-10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Uncomplicated urinary tract infections


Adult: 250 mg bid for 5-10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Uncomplicated gonorrhoea
Adult: 1,000 mg as single dose.

Acute bacterial sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis


Adult: 250 mg bid for 5-10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Acute otitis media


Adult: 500 mg bid for 5- 10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Pyelonephritis
Adult: 250 mg bid for 5-10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis


Adult: 250 or 500 mg bid for 5-10 days. Usual treatment duration: 7 days.

Pyelonephritis
Adult: Patients with uncomplicated cases: 500 mg bid for 7 days
(immediate-release)

Uncomplicated cystitis
Adult: 250-500 mg bid for 3 days (immediate-release); 500 mg every 24
hours for 3 days (extended-release).
Complicated cystitis
Adult: 500 mg bid for 7 days (immediate-release); 1,000 mg every 24
hours for 7-14 days (extended-release).

Bone and joint infections


Adult: 500-750 mg bid. Max treatment duration: 3 months.

Intra-abdominal infections
Adult: 500-750 mg bid for 5-14 days.

Prophylaxis of meningococcal meningitis


Adult: 500 mg as a single dose.

Clindamycin 300mg cap INDICATION: Antibiotic


DOSAGE: Anaerobic infections, Disease due to Gram-positive bacteria
Adult: Moderately severe: 150-300 mg every 6 hours. Severe: 300-450
mg every 6 hours. In cases of β-haemolytic streptococcal infection:
Continue for at least 10 days to prevent subsequent rheumatic fever or
glomerulonephritis.
Clopidogrel 75mg tab INDICATION: Anticoagulants, Antiplatelets & Fibrinolytics (Thrombolytics)
DOSAGE: Acute coronary syndrome
Adult: In the management of acute ST-elevation MI: In combination with
aspirin (with or without thrombolytics): ≤75 years 300 mg loading dose,
followed by 75 mg once daily. Initiate combined treatment as early as
possible after symptoms start and continue for at least 4 weeks. In the
management of non-ST-elevation MI or unstable angina, including those
undergoing stent placement after percutaneous coronary intervention
(PCI): In combination with aspirin: 300 mg loading dose, followed by 75
mg once daily.
Elderly: In the management of acute ST-elevation MI: In combination with
aspirin (with or without thrombolytics): ≤75 years Same as adult
dose; >75 years 75 mg once daily (without a loading dose). Initiate
combined treatment as early as possible after symptoms start and
continue for at least 4 weeks.
Co-amoxiclav 625 mg tab INDICATION: Acute bacterial sinusitis, Cystitis, Ear, nose and/or throat
infections, Genitourinary infections, Infected animal bites, Intra-abdominal

DOSAGE: Adult: 75-150 mg daily in divided doses. Max: 150 mg daily.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed to achieve
response. Dosing recommendations may vary among individual products

Elderly: Use lowest effective dose and shortest treatment duration
possible.
Diosmin + Hesperidin INDICATION: Venous circulation disorders (swollen legs, pain, nocturnal
450mg/50mg cramps, heavy legs, pain, restless legs) & symptoms due to acute
hemorrhoidal attack.
DOSAGE:
Acute hemorrhoidal attack: 1,000 mg tid for the 1st 4 days, followed by
1,000 mg bid for the next 3 days. Seek medical advice if symptoms do not
resolve within 15 days.
Chronic venous insufficiency: BID
