Time Lesson Sequence

0-1 min T will welcome S into the classroom and have them sit in their assigned seats

2-3 min T will have S stretch and give a quick brain break at their seats

4-6 min T will review treble clef note names with S

7-10 min T will tell S they are playing their own compositions all together today and go
over expectations for passing boom whackers and how we use boom whackers

T will have S first clap the rhythms of the composition all together

T will have S play the piece repeating twice

T will do this for all the student compositions


11-23 min
23-27 min T will have S switch boom whackers and go through all the songs again

28-35 min T will learn “Joe Song”

35-40 min T will give S exit ticket on the Treble Clef

T will line up S with line up song

Accommodations

T will have mallets for S who cannot hold boom whackers

T will have whole class play so S can follow along and still play

T will mobility issues will not be on an end side to switch
