Leave Policy 2021-22

Purpose:
To enable employees, avail leave to meet personal exigencies and recoup periodically by taking rest and
being with the family for various occasions.
Scope:
All the employees on the rolls of Group -V shall be covered under this policy.
Policy Guidelines:
1. Leaves shall be determined for the financial year (i.e. April to March) .
2. Leave cannot be availed by any employee, unless and until the balance is available to one’s credit.
3. Stock of the leaves will be taken on 31st March. The carry-forwarded leaves will be credited to an
employee’s account on 1st of April
every year.
4. 50% will be carry forwarded and 50% can be en-cashed or utilized.
5. Leave encashment will be given on the Basic salary.
6 .Carry forwarded leaves will have to be consumed by 30th September 2022.
7. No Leave encashment will be given to Consultants/Retainers.

Special Conditions:-
1. In case of separation (termination /resignation) the employee will be entitled for the encashment for
50% of the existing leaves.
2. In case of the death of an employee his/her family would be entitled for the encashment for 50% of
the existing leaves
3. No deduction shall be made accept that of Income Tax/company recovery from the amount payable
to the employee.
4. In case of retirement/retrenchment/resignation/death of an employee company’s dues will be
recovered from this amount.
