How to Use a TV as a Second Screen

Starting Out:
Materials Needed:
 TV
 HDMI cord
 Computer/projector

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Plug the HDMI cord into the back TV port under where it says HDMI

[2.] Plug the other end of the HDMI into the port on the side of the computer
Note: computer will not have the HDMI labeled

2.[3.] Once you have both sides plugged in, press and hold the Windows key,
then press the P key on your keyboard
3.[4.] A screen will titled “Project” will pop up in the lower right corner of
your computer

4.[5.] Select whatever you want it to show on your TV

 5.[6.] Make sure your TV source is on the right HDMI source
Notes:
- There should be a number on the back your HDMI, correspond that to the TV source
- Computer will not have the HDMI labeled
