Dear Ms.____,

I trust this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for allowing me the
privilege of observing Sarah at school. It has been a truly enriching experience, and I wanted to
take a moment to convey my appreciation. As I am completing my degree at Geneva College,
this case study is a huge project for me as it helps teach us how to conduct assessments on
students to help create instructional goals so we can then formulate ways to help close learning
gaps in student education. I worked with her mainly on reading, particularly in reading
comprehension and retelling text passages. Working one-on-one with Sarah with her reading has
shown me that sitting down with students and working alongside them can truly help them
understand better.

Having the opportunity to witness your child's engagement in the learning environment was both
insightful and rewarding. I observed Sarah demonstrating many amazing skills in the classroom,
how her spunky personality shines through her, and her amazing drawing skills, which truly
spoke to her commitment to bettering herself, personal growth, and her education. Even though I
have only met Sarah this semester, her character is so amazing, you have raised a great child who
is truly going to change the world. Moreover, I observed Sarah interacting with peers and
teachers, and it was heartwarming to see the positive relationships she has cultivated within the
school community. The respect and kindness she demonstrates towards others are truly
commendable.

Once again, thank you for entrusting me with the opportunity to observe and learn from Sarah. It
has been a pleasure, and I am excited about the progress and growth that lies ahead in all her
future holds for her!
