TASK:
(AC-S18) Week 18 - Final Assignment: An interview (Part 2)
STUDENTS:

Aldahir Ochoa Martínez Jazmin Chicllasto Moreno

Good afternoon teacher, today I, Aldahir Ochoa Martinez and my partner Jazmin
Chicllasto Moreno are going to present the last task of week 18. An interview
A: Hello Jazmin, my name is Aldahir Ochoa, welcome to the interview for the
scholarship abroad, please, can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?
J: Good afternoon Mr. Ochoa, My name is Jazmin Chicllasto Moreno, I am 19 years old,
I am from Peru, I am a 4th cycle student at the Technological University of Peru, I have
very excellent grades. And I would like to obtain a scholarship abroad.
A: Well, first of all, why do you think you deserve this scholarship?
J: Growing up I learned that this is not easy. There are some achievements that I am
proud of, but what I am most proud of is my progress in school. I've done pretty well in
school and I'm trying to prepare myself for life. And I can do everything people want
me to do.
A: What do you hope to learn in the program you have chosen? What countries have
you traveled to?
J: I have chosen to study business administration but I am doing an interview to learn
about digital marketing because that is going to be the future. And I didn't travel to any
country.
A: If you haven't been abroad yet, where would you travel if you had the chance? and
because?
J: I'm going to Canada because it's the best place to learn about the digital push I need,
to create small industries, and to be someone everyone recognizes.
A: Who would support you financially during your studies?
J: My family members are people who worked hard to have their own company in the
country and would sponsor my education and living expenses during my studies.
A: Well, in that case I would like to ask you some additional questions. What is your
definition of failure?
J: I define failure as the situation in which the expectations of the school or educators
are not met.
A: How do you handle deadlines or multiple tasks?
J: I make sure I have a positive outlook on the task at hand, then write a plan on how to
execute it and meet the deadline. I understand the importance of deadlines.
A: But what happens if you can't complete the allotted time limit? Wouldn't you
present the works? What would you do?
J: If I cannot meet the deadline, I will humbly ask for an extension.
A: Okay, those are good answers. Where do you see yourself in 7 years? and because?
J: In 7 years, I see myself as CEO of a technology company or working for the best
companies in the world as Director of an entire executive staff, but I also see myself
creating a great company.
A: In that case, do you have any questions for me?
J: What are my chances of getting a scholarship?
A: You are one of the best students at this university but over time, there are many
people who want the scholarship.
J: This interview is only necessary to obtain a scholarship abroad or do I need to send
an essay where I can explain in more detail all the achievements achieved throughout
my short life.
A: This interview is only necessary, if that is all, thank you very much for your
participation and we will inform you via email if you are chosen or not.
J: thank you.
