A. Define the project goal.

The goal of this project is to successfully create a database in Microsoft azure where in it shows a
database that has an inventory like database contents and to document the project’s data
governance and its creation.

B. Data Gathering

1. Prepare at least 10 questions for the client to gather as much needed details.
Certainly, here is the list of questions:

1. What types of products or items does your inventory consist of?

2. How often does your inventory turnover, and what is the average volume of transactions?
3. Do you manage multiple locations or warehouses?
4. What are the critical data points you need to track for each product/item in your inventory?
5. How do you currently track stock levels and manage restocking orders?
6. Are there any specific units of measurement or special considerations for certain products in
your inventory?
7. What is your preferred method for categorizing and organizing products in the inventory?
8. Do you require real-time visibility into your inventory, and if so, how frequently?
9. How do you handle product variations, such as different sizes, colors, or versions?
10. What are your reporting and analytics needs regarding inventory?
