6.1 Well way Preparation

All check has to be done in accordance with the layout drawing.

1. Check well way for clearly indicated finished floor line markings and center line markings (by contractor)

2. Check the distance between end supports, pit length, pit depth, rise and diagonals.

3. Check slab opening.

4. Check the beams or hooks placed for transport purposes.

5. Check dimensions and capacity of floor for horizontal transportation.

6.3 Jack bolts at support angles

A Before hoisting jacking jackbolts (M24 x 120) have to be screwed in completely into the support angels of truss

at both landings.

B put shims onto concrete, where support angles will be after setting down the escalator
