c) After listening to the podcasts many

d) ThenI madethe rest of the required
pages of my project andsubmitted it to mysubject teacher. According to the podcast, unemployment means the people without jobs who are available to take a job and are very actively looking for me, and I totally agree with this definition. Voluntary and involuntary unemployment simply means, voluntary unemployment is attributed to the individual’s decision . On the other hand, involuntary unemployment exists because of the socio- economic environment in which individuals operate. Unemployment can be caused by many things such as an economic crisis, industrial decline, organizational restructuring, company bankruptcy, etc. In this podcast, they also talk about how there was no way to measure the number of unemployed people who were lost and therefore there was no way to help these people to find jobs. No measurement is ever perfect. The unemployment rate in India came from7.87 in February 2020 to 69%, in February 2021. Now it has rapidly increased to7.66%. in October 2021, and has almost reached the same level as before COVID. The Pandemic has caused a lot of unemployment. Another reason why people are unemployed is that they don’t think there is a job there for them so they stop searching for it. They are called the discouraged ones. With reference to this podcast, they explained unemployment in a rather simple way – It’s like a game of musical chairs, there are more people searching for jobs than there are new jobs. If you stay in the game long enough, you'll ultimately get a seat, Many types of unemployment have been discussed in the podcast for example: frictional unemployment (it is caused by temporary transitions in worker’s lives)Send feedback Side pane less History Saved Contribute Structural unemployment (is caused by a mismatch in the skills of workers and the types of jobs available), and Cyclical unemployment (is caused by declining demand, when there is not enough demand in an economy for goods and services, businesses cannot offer jobs).Seasonal unemployment (it is caused by different industries as parts of the labor market are available during different seasons.) We find work as a big part of who we are, and we all would feel devastated if we couldn't get the job we desired. Unemployment is really Stressful and can make people feel isolated and question their self-worth. Long-term unemployment can make a worker progressively less employable even after the economy Strengthens. “even if the economy bounces back, not everyone Send feedback Side panels History Saved Contribute Does " In the podcast, they ask how can we prepare ourselves so we can bounce back and notsuffersomuch?
The answer is to be relentless in searching for a
job and try to avoid falling into the trap of being unemployed for a long time. You can always keep looking for a job even when you find a new one. So, take whatever job opportunities you get, and then look for another at a stronger position. Do whatever you can but never loose hope. "Does joblessness have to mean hopeless”?
