Welcome to Ayacucho

Ayacucho is a city in the south-central area of Peru. There are various places to visit in
this beautiful city. If you are looking for some adventure Ayacucho is the right place.

Here in Ayacucho, you can wear different typical garments such as skirts, blouses, and
hats that are part of the Ayacucho culture. You can also try different typical dishes such
as the traditional pachamanca, which is the principal dish of this city, this dish is
composed of meat, potato, sweet potato, and other Peruvian ingredients.

If you want to know more about the culture of this place, you can visit the “Museo de la
Memoria” or “Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán” which are places where you can
learn about the culture of Ayacucho.

Finally, If you go on festive dates like in January and February you can be part of our
typical Carnival which is very important since it is a festive date in which the entire town
of Ayacucho participates.
