Activity : Picture Analysis

Instruction: Identify and differentiate the picture below. Align your answer in our
topic which is Leadership.

The success of any group depends greatly on the abilities of its leader, right? In
the first picture, the leader seems to be using a autocratic leadership style. He is being
bossy and commanding his team without doing anything himself, and the team
members are following his commands without any input from them. On the other
hand, in the second picture, the leader is using a democratic leadership style, where he
is guiding his team and helping them complete the task. Both leaders were able to
finish their tasks, but the way they achieved it was quite different. I think it's
important to remember that a good leader not only gets the job done, but also
motivates and empowers their team members to do their best.

Activity: Self-Assessment

Instruction: Read the situation / scenario below and write your own conclusion or
solution on the problem given.

Assuming you are the president of the Philippines, how will you manage your country
despite having numerous criticism and lack of support from your constituents? What
are the steps and projects you will do to prove that they are wrong? Make your own
project plan for the project and a step by step procedure on how you will implement
it.

Criticism is a natural part of leadership. If no one is criticizing your leadership

– you are not leading correctly. If I were the President I would begin by
understanding their concerns by actively listening and engaging with different
segments of society to understand their criticism and concerns, addressing them
until I prove to them that they are mistaken about my presidency.
My first project would be education, Filipinos should be educated at a young
age. I will begin with Enhancing the infrastructure of schools, especially in remote
areas, by constructing and renovating classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and other
educational facilities. Improving accessibility by providing transportation options,
especially for areas with limited connectivity. I also want to establish comprehensive
scholarship programs and financial aid schemes to support students from
economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Collaborate with public and private
sectors to provide tuition fee waivers, grants, and stipends for eligible students.
Lastly, I also want to Ensure the availability of adequate and up-to-date
teaching materials, textbooks, technology, and learning resources in all schools.
Encourage partnerships with stakeholders and organizations to enhance resource
availability and distribution. Ensuring that they have access to educational materials.
