You are well known for your knowledge and books.
There are his 15 books, like Sun of Light of Knowledge.
Due to endeavors, your great name reached the west.
You are also a well-known author of books in the city.
Your center of knowledge is still working in the city.
Which is having light of guidance for the right path?
Oh, Shah of Deccan, due to your books, you are a star.
In all over India as well as in all corners of the world

The city of Hyderabad due to sacred personalities is called the


center of the pious person. Among such holy personalities
Hazrat Sahwi Shah is one all of them and who is so much
famous and well known so there is no such personality available
in the history of the Deccan.
And who was born this mortal world on the sixth Rajab in the
year 1345 Hijira

Islamic year corresponding to 23 February 1923 on the Friday.


And he has left this earthly world at the age of 56 years on 18th

Jamad Thani in the year 1399 Hijira year corresponding to 15th


May in the year 1979 on a Wednesday night.

His father Hadrat Ghousi Shah named him as per invisible


advise and divine inspiration of Hadrat Sheikh Akbar
Mohiuddin bin Arabi as Ahmed ibn Arabi Sahwi and later he
was becoming famous and well known with name of Hadrat
Sahwi Shah in Hyderabad and in all over Indian Sub-continent
and as well as in throughout of the world. He was perfect and
had good knowledge of the following.

1 .Knowledge of Quran.

2. Knowledge of Hadith (sayings of the last prophet of Allah)

3. Fiqh (Islamic law).

His books became famous throughout the Islamic world and the
details of books are mentioned as follows.

Hadrat Abdul Majid Daryabadi and Hadrat Abdullah Sahib has


praised him too mueh for his book Tafsir (exegesis ) Quran. As
his above books gained too much popularity and, but also there
are many other books are well know and famous which are
mentioned as follows.

argument has sent his letters and statements to the big powers in
the world in this

matter and he has pointed them in his letters the mistakes and
faults done by them in the world. So in this way, he has fulfilled
his right and duties properly and did work properly in the best
possible way.

His number of disciples range is very wide and spread in India,


Pakistan, America, Afriea and Saudi Arabia.

During his life period, Hadrat Sahwi Shah has appointed his
sueeessor and given ealiphate to his son Maulana Ghousi Shah
and authorized him to aeeept pledges from the diseiples. He was
given him speeial knowledge of Quran, Hadith (saying of the
last prophet of Allah), Fiqh (Islamie law) as well as he was
given him some other speeial knowledge.

After the demise of the sun of knowledge of the Deeean Hadrat


Sahwi Shah, Hadrat Ghousi Shah was fulfilling his duties and
his work as well his endeavor of teaehing and preaehing of
Islamie knowledge among the people for a period of 37 years in
Hyderabad and around Hyderabad and in many other plaees
eontinuously and un-tiring in the best possible way .

His grave is famous even today in Masjid Karim in Begum


Bazaar lane for the Fulfillment of desires and wishes of the
persons who visit his grave there and this mosque, whieh is built
by his grandfather Hadrat Karim Allah Shah and beside of his
grave Hadrat Ghousi Shah and Hadrat Karim Allah Shah are
resting in their graves there.

In short, his life sinee the beginning till ending was spent
sueeessfully in the love and affeetion of the Lord of the world
and last prophet of Allah

Moulana Sahvi Shah(1923–1979)(Persian/Urdu:‫حوى‬MM‫ا ص‬MM‫موالن‬
‫ )شاه‬was a Muslim Sufi mystic, saint, scholar, writer and poet

from the Indian subcontinent. Moulana Sahvi Shah was born in


1923 in the city of Hyderabad.His father, Ghousi Shah named
him after Shaikh-E-Akbar Ibn-E-Arabi as he saw the great saint
in a vision before the birth of his son.
Biography
Moulana Sahvi Shah was born in 1923 in the city of Hyderabad
on the day of Urs of Gharib Nawaz which is celebrated by
Muslims of India on the 6th of Rajjab every year. WhenMoulana
Sahvi Shah was 4 years 4 months his Bismillah Ceremony was
performed. The proceedings took place under the patronage
of Machliwale Shah Alhaj Kareemullah Shah Saheb, his grand
father was a noted saint of Hyderabad and was a great
interpreter of Moulana Rum. Ghousi Shah Sahab was his
mureed, Khalifa and successor. He died in 1913. Moulana Sahvi
Shah was nine years old, when the Ilahi chaman saint died. He
had the privilege to serve him, even as a child. By that time, he
could learn Arabic, Persian and Urdu and Hadith, Fiqh, Tafseer.
His father Ghousi Shah played a great role in moulding his
child's intellectual purity and instigated in love for Tasawwuf.
He was Aashiqe Rasool – a great lover of Islamic prophet
Mohammed. Besides, he was a great lover of God too. Much of
his life was spent in reciting His name and obeying his
commands.
Spiritual History
Moulana Sahvi Shah Saheb was 27 when Caliphate was
conferred upon him. The conferment of Caliphate was hailed by
other members of futernity. It was in 1954 a few months before
Ghousi Shah died. Right from 1954 till 1979 Sahvi Shah Saheb,
lectured, and wrote ceaselessly and toured all parts of India,

spreading the tenets of tawhid. He was a saint of Quadri, Chisti,


Naqshbandi, Soharwardi, Tabqati, Owaisi, Akbari order. He
conferred the Khilafat upon his eldest son, Ghousavi Shah,
before his death and he was made successor.

Life
Sahvi Shah Saheb is preoccupied totally in spreading the
message of his father and grandfather, through writings and
lectures. He conducts zikr every week in his Khanakha (Baith-
Un-Noor) and the Urs celebrations of the four saints of the
Silsila are observed regularly. Besides lecturers are also
conducted on Imam Abu Hanifa and Ibne Arabi.

Works
Sahvi Shah published his first book of verse "Akse Lateef" when
he was just 18. The critic Naiz Fatehapuri, hailed it as a

commendable output from one who was young and


intelligent. He said the young poet had all the characteristics of a
good poet. Sahvi Shah Sahab continued to publish further
collections namely "Takdeese Sher","Nazre Madina", Tathir-E-
Ghazal – all well received. He dubbed in the new form of poetry
Sulasi and wrote it with great feeling. He translated passages
from Quran (Alam Tara; Surah Baqarah) and wrote on Tasawuf
(Irshadat-e-Sulook) explaining the significance of Sufi tenets. In
Bidat-E-Hasna, he defended the practices of Sunnis. His talk
Tazkia Nafs – Purification of the self, broadcast from All India
Radio, Hyderabad was highly hailed in spiritual circles.
Sahvi Shah was also a journalist. He edited Urdu Weeklies /
Fort-Nightlies and "Jhalkian & Inquilab" when his father was
alive edited Al-Noor, after his death in memory of his father.
