A brief biography of Hazrat Bade Sahab of Hyderabad
Hazrat was born in the year 1008 Hijri in Malakapur village in
Hyderabad. Hazrat’s full name was Syed Shah Abdul Quader
Quaderi al-Mahvi, and his patronymic name was Bade Sahab.
He was the elder son of Hazrat Syed Meeran Hussain Quaderi
al-Mahvi, and in the 15th geneological link he was the grandson
of Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Quader Jilani, R.A. He has obtained the
pledge and caliphate from his father. At the age of 40 years, he
sat on the seat of teaching and instruction, and he was a well-
known and famous holy person.
So the compiler of the book, Kashaf Qabori, who has mentioned
the following event in the style of his autobiography, which is as
follows:
"During the period of wandering about in the desert, I have
visited many holy people. On that day, I went to visit the two
tombs of Hazrat Syed Meeran Hussain Quaderi al-Mahvi and
Hazrat Syed Abdul Quaderi, and I reached Malkapur village.
And upon visiting the grave of Hazrat Abdul Quader Quaderi, I
began recitation of the following couplet in the Persian
language, and its translation into English is as follows:
"In the shroud, I listened to the illusion. I faced the shower of
the illusion. "

After some time, Bade Sahab came from his grave, and I
immediately caught his feet and began kissing. For the sake of
the kindness of Hazrat, embraced me and he was given
excellence in talking with this servant. Even though I have
visited many of the holy people, I could not get such a sense of
excellence here as I did not get at other places. "
In short, Bade Sahab’s spiritual miracles and supernatural habits,
which are difficult to write about,
Hazrat died on the 13th of Jamad al-Awwal in the year 1087
Hijiri, which corresponds to 1676 A.D., at the age of 79, during
the reign of Sultan Abul Hasan Tana Shah of the Golconda
kingdom. And he was buried in the Langer house attached to
Golconda fort in the shrine building of his father.
The general and special people continue to visit Hazrat's tomb of
light.The details of Hazrat’s children are as follows.
There was one son, and his name was Syed Mohiuddin Ahmed.
There were three daughters, and the details of their names are as
follows.
1. Bibi Sahaba Hamida Sahaba is number two.Sharifa Sahaba,
No. 3
(See Miskawat Nabva, p. 325, and Hadiqa Rahmani, p. 549.)
The tomb of Hazrat is found in the middle of the shrine building.
This portion was surrounded by walls, and there was one fixed
door on the southern side. And it was transferred to the safe
room position. This room’s inside width is 13 feet and 7 inches.
And in this room, another grave is found on the eastern side,

which belongs to his son, Hazrat Syed Mohiuddin Ahmed. The


inside floor and graves are made of mortar. The dimensions of
the grave of Hazrat Bade Sahab are as follows:
In length, it is 5 feet and one inch; in width, it is 2 feet and 7
inches; and in height, it is 2 feet and four inches. The two graves
are surrounded by a wooden net, and its height is one foot and
three inches.
On the door of the room there is an available stone tablet on
which are written the following details in the Arabic language:
Syed Abdul Quader Sahab Baghdadi Sahab, son of Quaderi,
Urs, or the annual anniversary of death : At this time, there will
be no Urs or annual death anniversary of this Hazrat separately,
but it is held with the Urs of his father, well known as Ghouse
Thani, and at that time, there will be lighting and flower
garlands on the grave of the Hazrat.
