Title: Character development in different games

Introduction:

I have chosen this topic to show how two different characters, Kratos and Lara Croft, have developed
differently throughout their stories and who has developed the best throughout their games.

Synopsis:

My documentary will show how different characters have developed throughout their journeys and
stories. The purpose of this video is to show the difference of how characters have developed
throughout their games and how their games have developed them to get to their character they
are today. The two characters I have chosen to discuss are Kratos from God of War and Lara Croft
from the Tomb Raider series. They are two majorly different characters so there will be a lot of
differences to talk and discuss about in this documentary

Research Objectives:

The main objectives I want to achieve from this documentary is to show how two different
characters (Kratos and Lara Croft) have developed throughout their journeys. The main question I
want to answer from this documentary is who has developed the best throughout their different
journeys and adventures.

Methodology:

I plan to do secondary research by watching different videos on both of the games to gather
information on both of the video game series to see how each character has developed and how
differently they have developed throughout each game. I plan to capture these videos as visual
materials for my documentary as evidence to show how they have developed in each game. I am
also planning to interviews some people to get their opinions and answers to my chosen question. I
am planning to interview them in the studio.

I will watch and use different videos on YouTube for research and Premier Pro, After Effects and OBS
for my documentary. I will use OBS to capture game footage from YouTube for my documentary. I
will use After Effects to create name cards for my documentary. I will use Premier pro to edit my
video and cut the video to the required length and add background music to my documentary.

Interviews:

I am planning to interview people but I don’t know who yet. I plan to ask them if they have played
any of the games mentioned, which game they prefer and which character do they think has
developed more throughout their games.

Visuals and Footage:

I plan to capture YouTube videos as game footage for my documentary to show the different games I
am discussing in the documentary. I also plan to create name cards for the people I will interview in
After Effects to show who I am interviewing.

Timeline:

I plan to spend a week on each task to give me enough time to complete everything to the best of
my ability.
