ACADEMIC OFFERING
As on date, the Institute has 2500 students on roll

HIGHLIGHTS

TECHNOLOGY PARK
IIT Jodhpur is setting up an Incubation Centre and Technology
Park on its campus to nucleate a cluster of new-age ventures.
The focal theme for the echnology Park is AIOT — Artificial
Intelligence of Things. The convergence of A1, IOT and 50 is
ushering in AIOT. This next-generation technology is Expected
to impact all sectors of the economy. TECH PARK will host at
least 30 companies at a time. The talented and experienced
faculty and Research facility of IIT Jodhpur will be an integral
resource of Tech Park.

INCUBATION CENTER
IIT Jodhpur has set up an Incubtion and Innovation Centre
on its campus to nucleate a cluster of newage ventures. The
Centre was inaugurated on the 16th October 2020 by Dr.
Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', Hon'ble Union Shiksha Mantri,
Government of India. Present available infrastruture has
around 21,000 sq. ft. of the built-up area dedicated for
incubation and innovation along with other business support
amenities. At any time, on an average 30 incubators can be
accommodated in the unit.

NIRF RANKING
IIT Jodhpur has an NIRF ranking of 30 from two consistent
years, this improvement has been possible solely due to the
time and efforts put in by everyone at IITJ. Kudos to all of
them. Let us vow to similarly strive ahead to achieve more
laurels and fame.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
The programs are very diverse and the curriculum is
one of the finest in country. The addition of courses
like Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine
Learning, and Computer science in every
specialization makes the curriculum very appealing.
Every student enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology

STEP 1
Career Development Cell reaches out to various prestigious firms
notifying that IIT Jodhpur is open for hiring.
STEP 2
Companies interested reach out CDC with the details CDC needs
about the roles extended by the company.
STEP 3
Details of eligible candidates who are interested for the role will
be made available to interested companies. Company can provide
insight to students with their pre-placement talks:
STEP 4
Students go through screening tests mandated by the company.

Shortlisted students move forward in the company's selection

process.
STEP 5
CDC notifies the companies with the feasible dates and
schedules hiring process after finalising the dates.
STEP 6
Companies provides the final list of the selected students. CDC
ensuring that all ends are met, will request for feedback to
improvise the expereince.

DevlUp Labs is the Open Source Enthusiasts' Student
Community at IIT Jodhpur, fostering innovation and
collaboration in open-source technology. Engage in

Robotics Society
The Robotics Society of IIT Jodhpur is a platform
that imparts essential knowledge of robotics,
robotics operating systems, and robot building to
students. From electronics to mechanical
components and material selection, we cover it all.
Additionally, students gain expertise in AI and
robotics programming, fostering a comprehensive
understanding of building robots and unleashing
their potential in the world of technology.

Film-making Society
Fim-making society comprises of
Cinematography, video-editing, screenplay,
acting etc. and encourages creative exploration,
helping the students expand their creative
thinking using softwares like premiere pro, after-
effects etc. The society uploads educational
short-films, trailer and organizes competition on
institute level and also participates in cultural
meets and covers the events and fests.
 BEYOND ACADEMICS
Prometeo
Prometeo is the Technical and Entrepreneurship
Festival of IIT Jodhpur. Prometeo, whose name is
derived from the Greek term for foresight, honours
disruptive technologies through talks, workshops,
and competitions. The "Origin to Infinity" theme of
Prometeo 2023 explores what technology was in
the past, what it is now, and what it could be in the
future.

Ignus
IGNUS is IIT Jodhpur's annual social and cultural festival. Art,
culture, and diversity are revered in Ignus. It's a platform for
the country's brightest artists, thinkers, and cultural
practitioners to share their work with the world. More than
20,000 people visit each year.
