Manufacturing Processes
3. In-situ testing and inspection of components, Non-destructive testing.
Part II: Advanced Manufacturing
1. Classification, operating parameters, and throughputs of manufacturing
processes .
2. Generative, Additive, and Removal Processes; Conventional and Non-
conventional processes; Contact and Non-contact processes .
3. Hybrid manufacturing processes
4. Scaling laws and multi-scale manufacturing .

The course aims at imparting knowledge related to
1. Mechanical behaviour of materials and their manufacturability
2. Various manufacturing process
