- Epidemiology is the study of those factors affecting the health of a given
population. Public Health is the management of those factors. Together, they act
as a concept known as preventive medicine.

- The three major epidemiology techniques are descriptive, analytic, and
experimental. Although all three can be used in investigating the occurrence of
disease, the method used most is descriptive epidemiology.

experimentation ?
- Description: a statement or account giving the characteristic of someone or
something.
- Analysis: Is an interpretive process that draws conclusions from a set of facts.
- Experimentation: Is a method of gathering information and data on a subject
through observation in controlled settings understanding the benefits of
experimental research design can help you better use it in your professional
career.
4) what are some examples of diseases that can be studied using
epidemiology ?
- Some examples of topics examined through epidemiology include as high blood
pressure, mental illness and obesity. Therefore, this epidemiology is based upon
how the pattern of the disease causes change in the function of human beings.
5) explain the role of epidemiology in disease control ?
- Epidemiology is the study of how often disease occurs in different groups of
people and why. Epidemiological information is used to plan and evaluate
disease prevention strategies and as a guide for managing patients who have
developed disease.
