In my opinion, the death penalty is justified because if a person does any crime so he/ she should be

punished by the death penalty for example if a person does a serious crime like rape, murder, treason,
espionage, large-scale drug trafficking, or attempted murder of a witness, juror, or court officer..etc.,
should be punished by death penalty so other people will take a lesson from it and will not repeat that
crime as other criminals did and another thing s that some criminals, like murderers and serial killers,
can't be reformed/ only death is suitable. It is only fair to the family of the victim that the person who
murdered their relative is executed so that they can get closure and they can move on with their life.
Another point is that punishment must be equal/reflect the crime, which means if you kill someone so
you should be killed.

If you put someone in prison for life so this is very expensive and the only reason you are putting them
in prison for life is that you just Don't want to execute them because you think it's morally wrong but
what about how morally wrong it was for them to kill somebody so maybe it's a big waste of taxpayers
money just to keep someone in prisoned all their life. And today we have got DNA evidence so that
proof that someone actually committed a crime that's worthy of the death penalty is stronger. There is
stronger evidence today with DNA evidence. Another point is that if murderers have actually been
released from prison or escaped from prison and they have killed more people and committed other
crimes so if there is not the death penalty, so there is a risk that, that person is going to kill again and
commit more crimes.

One of the main reasons for this is the justification that it is permitted by the Quran, the Islamic holy
book. As such, most nations that consider Islam to be the state religion permit the use of the death
penalty. Muslim arguments in favor of capital punishment.
