Homemade Strawberry Face Wash

Here is the formula

Water Phase
35% Distilled Water
20% Strawberry Fruit Essence
4% Vegetable Glycerin
4% 1,3 propanedial
2% Hydrolyzed Rice Protein
4% Leucidal SF Complete
4% Strawberry Extract
2% Siligel

Surfactant Phase
15% CocoBetaine (Cocamidopropyl Betaine)
10% Coco Glucoside

Directions;
Weigh out the Distilled Water, Strawberry Fruit Essence, Vegetable Glycerin, 1,3 Propanedial,
Rice Protein, Strawberry Extract, & Leucidal SF Complete in a beaker. Sprinkle the Siligel on
top and mix with a high sheer mixer like an immersion blender. Siligel typically poofs up a bit, so
you can either let it sit for 24 hours before adding in the surfactants or add the surfactants
immediately. Make sure you gently mix the surfactants in. You do not want to add the
surfactants before the siligel because the surfactants will cause your formulation to foam way to
much and it will take forever for the foam to go away. So be sure you add the siligel first, then
the surfactants. If you decided to add the surfactants immediately after mixing in the siligel make
sure you let it sit for at least 24 hours before pouring it into a bottle. Like I said the siligel causes
your formula to poof up, so you want it to settle completely before packaging up your face wash.
Also if you want to balance the ph (I believe this face wash has a ph around 7 naturally) You can
use some citric acid to lower the ph.
