○ Cold process himalayan sea salt soap recipe:

Oil:
Coconut oil (100%) - 400 g
Lye (33% lye concentration) - 58.6 g
Distilled water - 117 g
Pink himalayan sea salt - 200 g

Optional:
Citric acid - 8 g
Pink clay - 1 tsp
Fragrance oil – 10 ml

Cure the soap for 4-6 weeks before using on your skin.

○ Cold process indigo soap recipe:

Total batch weight ~700 g

Oil:
Olive oil (40%) - 200 g
Coconut oil (30%) - 150 g
Refined shea butter (25%) – 125 g
Castor oil (5%) - 25 g

Lye:
Sodium hydroxide - 70.8 g
Frozen distilled water - 120 g
(37% lye concentration, 4% superfat)
Indigo powder - ¼ tsp
Fragrance or essential oil for a light scent - 10 ml

Add indigo powder and ice cubes and mix well and then add lye to it.

○ Cold process castile soap recipe with carrot puree:


Total batch weight: ~860 g

Oil:
Olive oil (100%) - 600 g

Lye:

Citric acid - 10 g
Distilled water - 100 g
Cooked and pureed carrots - 70 g
Lye (77.2 g if not using citric acid) - 83.2 g
(31.2% lye concentration(including the carrots), 5% superfat)

Lemongrass essential oil - 8.4 g


Ginger essential oil - 3.6 g

Boil the carrot in water and then add olive oil and blend well.Double filter it and
add another 300g olive oil to it and later to lye.Cure the soap for at least 4
weeks before using it on your skin. Castile soap benefits from a longer, 3-12
month cure.

○ Cold process Marseille style soap recipe:

Oil:
Olive oil - 432 g
Coconut oil - 168 g
Lye:
Water - 255 g
Lye - 84,8 g (25% lye concentration, 5% superfat)

Optional additives:
Green clay - 4 tsp
Sodium lactate - 18 g
This recipe makes about 950 g soap.

○ Cold process aloe vera soap:

Lye:
Sodium Hydroxide/Lye - 76g
Deodorized coconut oil - 450g

Oil:
Aloe Vera gel - 185g

○ Cold process 100% Coconut soap recipe:

Oil:
Large batch
Coconut oil - 840g
Water (any drinking water is fine) This recipe uses a 2:1 water to lye ratio
(33% lye concentration) for the water-lye solution. - 234g
Sodium hydroxide / NaOH - 115g

This recipe makes just under 1200g of soap (12 x 100g bars) You will need a
mould that holds at least 1.2 litres or 40.5 fluid ounces of liquid to make this
recipe.

Half Sized Recipe - 25% superfat


Coconut oil - 420g
Water - 117g
Sodium hydroxide / NaOH - 57g

Lower superfat recipe for cleaning soap (will be drying on skin)


Coconut oil - 840g

○ Cold process Lavendar Coconut /Olive soap recipe:

Oil:
• Olive oil - 950 grams
• Coconut oil - 50 grams

• Essential oil (optional - I used 40g lavender EO *) - 20-50 grams


• Lavender buds, clay or colours for your soap (optional)
Lye:

• Water - 199 g
• Caustic soda (also known as sodium hydroxide) - 133 gr

○ Cold process Honey Castile soap recipe:

Oil:
Honey – 1teaspoon
Olive oil – 400g

Lye:
Water - 90 g(45g for honey solution , 45g ice)
Sodium hydroxide - 52 g

Beeswax And Coconut Lip Balm

What You Need –


 1/2 tablespoon grated beeswax
 1 tablespoon shea butter
 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
 2 tablespoon Beetroot powder
 2 capsules of vitamin E
 Essential oil

Steps:
1. Use a double boiler to melt down the beeswax, add shea
butter ,coconut oil and add beetroot powder.
2. Blend the ingredients together.
3. Add two capsules of vitamin E oil.
4. Once it’s cool, transfer the product into a tin or an old lip balm
container.
5. Apply whenever your lips feel dry or dehydrated.

Burt’s Bees Homestyle Lip Balm

What You Need


 2 tablespoons shea butter
 2 tablespoons organic coconut oil
 2 tablespoons beeswax pastilles
 10+ drops peppermint essential oil
Steps
1. Place your beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil in a double boiler
over medium heat, and stir until it melts.
2. Add essential oils of your preference, and test a tiny amount on
your arm to make sure that the scent is not too strong.
3. Transfer the balm to clean containers.
4. Wait until it completely cools downs and hardens before putting the
cap on.

Pure Essential Oil Lip Balm


What You Need
 ¼ cup mango or cocoa butter
 A little soy wax or beeswax
 Several drops of your favorite essential oil
 1 teaspoon beetroot powder
Steps
1. Melt your soy wax in a makeshift double boiler.
2. Add the mango butter to the wax and blend them.
3. Add your favorite essential oil like grapefruit or peppermint.
4. For the color, add a small amount of beer root powder and stir well
until there are no lumps.
5. Let your lip balm cool down and then carefully pour it into
containers.
