•Only authorised operator to operate boom truck with valid
TUV certificate and driver license.
• Lifting equipment shall only be operated and maintained
by qualified personnel such as those designated and
authorized.
• Ensure that lifting equipment and lifting accessories are
third party certified.
• Boom truck equipment and riggers must have proof of
competency third party certifications (TUV).
• Competent rigger should be available on site during
lifting.
• A flagman should always be available during use and
transit of the lifting equipment.
• Barricades or caution lines, and notices, are erected to
prevent all employees from entering the fall zone.
• No employees, are permitted in the fall zone.
• Swing radius of the crane must be identified and
