Curriculum is considered as the heart of a learning institution because it is a

structured set of learning outcomes which identifies the learning outcomes and the

content or what is taught in a given course. Curriculum is a type of planning that is used

to provide a high-quality education. Curriculum is significant because it serves as a

guide for instructors to help them build skills and knowledge while also assisting

learners in their development as individuals. As a result, learners will be more equipped

for the future, better prepared for the workforce, and better prepared for lifelong

learning.

We need to develop and continuously develop the curriculum to reflect

changing needs, advances in technology, and to improve educational

outcomes.Everyday the world is changing.To cope up with the changes in society's

needs, the skills and knowledge that are needed to succeed, we have to improve our

curriculum to become more timely and/or updated to reflect these changing needs.

While there is a change in society’s needs, technology also advances which is why

curriculum must be modified to integrate new technologies and teaching methods. We

can help students learn more effectively and achieve higher academic performance by

adopting modern teaching techniques and technology.
