Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

The Business Administration Club organization is formed by alumni of

different schools and colleges under the Bachelor of Science in Business

Administration program. The purpose of the club organization may vary

depending on the interests of the members but common objectives may

include knowledge sharing, community engagement, social interaction, career

development and networking. Aside from the common objectives, the

Business Administration club also has a significant effect and impact that

improves students' learning, discipline, welfare and in coordinating with the

school programs and activities. The club's effectiveness is important in

educational institutions as it ensures the club's goals and objectives are met

efficiently. It provides students with a platform to participate in many business-

related activities outside of the usual classroom setting (Aaliya, 2021).

Additionally, considering the fact that it values integration, little is known

about the real usefulness and influence of such clubs on students' overall

educational experiences (Ruth, 2023). This study aims to evaluate the

effectiveness of major clubs within the educational institution, analyzing the

impact on students' academic performance, and the overall school

experience. Furthermore, the findings of the study shall fill that void by

undertaking a perception-based evaluation of the Business Administration

Club's effectiveness.

Globally, organizations and clubs are particularly part of student's

school life wherein it promotes bonds between students through sharing

experiences of different cultures and beliefs, interest, diversity and inclusion

(Violeta, 2023). In America, club organizations are effective on working to

enhance possibilities for students around the country who want to work in

fields such as management, accounting, finance, and other related fields.

Through mentoring, experiencing leadership, the organization's primary goals

are career advancement and professional development (Alicia, 2022).

In the Philippines, club organizations are tiny communities where

students can express themselves, polish their strengths, feel a strong sense

of shared ownership, and gain the skills they need to become people-for-

others, which cultivates it's members into holistic leaders who exhibit socially

responsible business practices. They are an organization that seeks to foster

a culture that embodies their ideals to assist Business Administration students

in honing their management and leadership abilities while offering their

management and leadership skills, and opportunities for their practical

application (Ruth, 2023).

In Davao City, many universities and schools' often serve's clubs and

organizations as a platform for students to pursue interest outside the

classroom, foster a sense of belonging and community among students, instill

a sense of responsibility and discipline in maintaining their roles within a club

and contribute effectively, and improve their academic performances by

developing their time management skills, improved organization and enhance

study (Zyra, 2019).

This study aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on the role of

extracurricular activities in enhancing business education. The findings of this

study can provide valuable insights to educators, administrators, and club

organizers, helping them tailor club activities to better meet students' need

and aspirations. This study will conduct surveys to gain insights to the impact

and effectiveness of BSBA club organization with the following indicators;

school programs and activities, student welfare, student discipline, and

improvement of school facilities.

Statement of the Problem

The primary objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of

SPCT BSBA Club Organizations as perceived by students during AY 2023-

2024. To achieve this goal, the following specific questions are addressed:

1. What are the respondents level of perception on the effectiveness of

BSBA club organization in terms of:

1.1 School programs and activities

1.2 Student welfare

1.3 Student's discipline

1.4 School facilities

2. What is the respondent's distribution profile when categorized according

to their level of perception on the effectiveness of SPCT BSBA club

organization? (Very High, High, Average, Low, Very Low)

3. What variables of effectiveness of SPCT BSBA club organization

separates the highest group from the other groups?

Hypothesis

Ho: No variables of effectiveness of SPCT BSBA club organization

separates the highest group from the other groups.

Review of Related Literature

This section presents the review of related literature that will support in

the research of this study. To emphasize the importance of this chapter,

references from related literature and previous studies conducted by other

researchers are included in the Assessing the Effectiveness of SPCT BSBA

Club Organization to Students.

School Programs and Activities

Students at higher education institutions often expand their learning

outside of the classroom by participating in co-curricular activities, such as

student clubs and organizations (Mikulec &McKinney,2019). Students who

become involved in co-curricular programs are more likely to persist, which

benefits both the institution and the student (Tinto, 2020). Students have a

variety of motivations for joining these groups as well as various levels of

preparation. These organizations are led by student leaders, typically elected

or appointed officers, and are commonly advised by professional staff

members or faculty.

Colleges and universities have existed to educate students as persons

in their full totality (Sasso &DeVitis, 2020, p. 2) and prepare them to contribute

to society. Students who become involved in out-of-the-classroom

experiences, such as extracurricular student organizations, are more likely to

gain opportunities to develop and practice leadership behaviors and skills

(Komives et al., 2019). Therefore, students can develop and practice

leadership behaviors and skills in college that advance their personal

development and benefit their future careers regardless of profession.

Lambert (2021), states that administrators have learned that campus

activities and organizations are a necessary part of the campus community.

Faculty members embrace activities as a way of educating their students in

settings other than the traditional classroom (Fry, 2019). Student activities

officials learn to present educational programs in addition to the standard

concerts and free giveaways.

Student Welfare

In line with the school's responsibility is to guarantee that all students'

rights and welfare are constantly protected and encouraged. The Student

Council's duties include developing school spirit and promoting the general

welfare of students, advising the school Leader on student things matter,

affairs, and operations of distinctly intercollegiate concern, adopting by-laws

for internal and general government, coordinating student activities, and

exercising such powers and performing such acts of duties as the school

administration may from time-to-time delegate to it (Ruth, 2023). Every

campus had a critical role to play in the improvement of the institution. They

are regarded a potent source of human capabilities that the institution uses for

both education and research as in school management This is especially true

for students, who are seen as the most vulnerable (Garlejo, 2022).

The main role of student council as the supreme student organization

of the school is to ensure that the rights and welfare of all students are always

upheld and promoted. The Student Council tasked to develop school spirit

and promote the general welfare of the students; advise university/college

President on student matters, affairs and activities of distinctly intercollegiate

concern; to adopt its own by-laws for its internal and general government; to

coordinate student activities; and to exercise such powers and perform such

act of duties as the school authorities may from time-to-time delegate to it

(Garlejo, 2022)

Students Discipline

As stated by Hall (2021), Through participation in student

organizations, students can maintain relationships with other individuals that

have the same professional interests; develop stronger mentoring

relationships with their teachers; gain ability to think critically, plan

appropriately and make decisions. Additionally, major clubs offer structured

activities and goals, providing students with a purposeful way to spend their

time outside of regular classes. This structured engagement helps in

minimizing idle time, reducing the likelihood of disruptive behaviors. Moreover,

joining a major club often requires commitment and dedication. Students learn

the importance of fulfilling responsibilities, attending meetings or practices

regularly, and contributing positively to the club's objectives (Ruth, 2023). This

cultivates a sense of accountability and discipline.

Furthermore, clubs typically have their own set of rules and guidelines

that members are expected to follow. This establishes a framework for

behavior and conduct, reinforcing discipline within the club environment.

According to Hall (2021), clubs often have appointed leaders, guding

members in adhering to club regulations and behavioral standards. These role

models impart values, discipline, ethical conduct, serving as examples for

others to follow.

School Facilities

Facilities are products or services that support an organization to

achieve its objectives. Facilities generally form part of the properties in an

organization to support occupants in achieving business goals (Alexander,

2023). Within the context of education, such as school, it is aimed to create

supporting teaching and learning environment for students, teachers, and

other users around the school. Occupants of inadequate school facilities may

fail to perceive a clear focus on academic purposes, and the learning

environment is less likely to be thought of as orderly and serious (Uline and

Moran, 2021). The other researcher emphasized that school facilities affect

learning. Spatial configurations, noise, heat, cold, light, and air quality

obviously bear on students' and teachers' ability to perform (Schneider, 2021).

The influence of school facility construction and renovations, based on

Holmes (2021), the impact of rehabilitation on academic accomplishment in

Texas; the goal of this research was to see if there was a link between school

building conditions and student academic achievement. Between 2005 and

2009, participating schools who received an Educational Appropriateness

Award from the Texas Association of School Boards were categorized as

having new facilities. The Texas Education Agency's Campus Comparability

report revealed which facilities were older. An impartial tool was used to

compare campuses quantitatively.

Based on Gutek (2019), colleges and universities usually provide

learning centres to assist students who are experiencing difficulties in their

classes. These facilities offer tutoring and remedial education in areas where

the student is experiencing difficulty. Counselling services are also available

for students dealing with personal difficulties, including substance abuse and

eating disorders. Career placement centres provide help in making career

decisions and finding jobs after completing college.

Microsoft Encarta (2022), Student government involves student bodies

or councils organizing and regulating student activities, academic courses,

and discipline at schools, colleges, and universities. A team of officials,

elected by students and made up of students and faculty members, serves as

a bridge for communication between the institution's administrators and the

students such as a school principal or a college's president and board of

governors, and students It also helps to regulate educational, disciplinary, and

extracurricular activities, as well as listening to student complaints.

Synthesizing, the related literature in this study will contextualize the

major club effectiveness, provides a background on the concept of students

major clubs, their roles, and their potential impact on students' experiences. It

also reviews the guides in this research methodology by pointing out gaps in

knowledge that need further investigation. It supports the research by

presenting evidence from previous studies, use the informations to build

cases in the research hypothesis and helps build a rationale for the study on

the effectiveness of major club organizations.

Correlation Between Measures

Club organizations have positive effect on students to enhance their

experience and knowledge of valuable professional skills. The majority of

student societies, clubs and organization are chained by student who manage

and oversee the internal and external activities and events, as well as the

founding an allocation of resources and facilities (Gacutan, 2022). Several

measures and correlations with the study can shed light with the following

indicators; school programs and activities, student welfare, student discipline,

and improvement of school facilities. Analyzing these correlations involves

examining data from sources such as literatures and surveys questionnaires.

Establishing connections between the effectiveness of BSBA major clubs nad

their impact helps in recognizing the role these club plays in enhancing the

overall experience and culture within the school.

This study would likeley to investigate the correlation between various

measures and variables related to both clubs and students' experiences.

Which is the involvement of students with the level of effectiveness on

corresponding BSBA club organizations: Junior People Management of the

Philippines (JPMAP), Petrean Junior Marketing Association (PJMA), and

Certified Finance Association (CFA), with the corresponding indicators; school

programs and activities, student welfare, student discipline, and student

academic performance. To study these correlations, the study will collect data

through surveys and the various variables to determine the level of

effectiveness of BSBA club organizations and their impact to students while

considering the following; define the variables, collect data, analyze

correlations, interpret results, consider quality, draw conclusions and

implications, and report the findings.

Theoretical Framework

This study is mainly anchored by Gacutan (2022), wherein he said that

leaders of different student organizations in every campus played very

important roles to perform for school enhancement. They are considered as a

powerful vigor of human resources that the school taps for instruction as well

as in school organization. This is very true to students for they are considered

as the most important element of the educational community. As young as

they are, students are aware of the many problems that confront their school

life and their future. Hence, they should have the initiatives to offer solutions

to such problems thereby giving them chances to execute their plans and

mobilize their works within their capabilities because of their desire to facilitate

students development and help improve the prestige of the school they

belong.

As stated by Martin, (2020), as reported by Ebede (2019), many

college and university students join student organizations for reasons other

than entertainment. A student also aspires to gain appropriate skills,

information, and competences for their future employment. As cited by

Shanahan, (2018) stated that youth organization can improve young people's

skill development, sense of agency, and level of community involvement.

When combined with evidence of concrete changes in education policies and

practices as a result of youth organizing, this suggests that we should take

students seriously as active change agents in their own education as well as

other policy arenas affecting their lives.

Conceptual Framework

Shown in Figure 1 is the conceptual framework of the study, showing

the relationship of the two variables, independent and dependent. It shows the

effectiveness of SPCT BSBA club organization and its respective indicators

which include: school programs and activities, student welfare, student's

discipline, and student's academic performance for the independent variable.

Indicators of the dependent variable include: very high, high, average, low,

and very low. The data gathered will be measured through a likert rating

scale.

Significance of the Study

The outcome of this study shall benefit the following:

Office of the Student's Affairs. Through the results of this study, they

can use it to create better regulations, methods and techniques in keeping the

engagement and performance of students. Provide new strategic plans and

make better platforms to maintain the students.

College Faculty. This research will be helpful and useful for the college

faculty to be aware what certain aspects would affect a student's academic

and social performance. With the study, this will provides valuable insights

that faculties can use to enhance the educational and extracurricular

experience of students.

BSBA Major Club Officers. The findings of this study will be a door to

the reality of the effectiveness of BSBA club organizations. The result of this

study will open to the discussion of studying the roles and responsibilities of

club officers is essential for ensuring the effective functioning of a club

organization. It will promote their leadership, development, efficient

operations, and the overall success of the club.

Students. This research will be beneficial to the students to enlighten

them the effectiveness of joining major club organizations. The journey of

being a student cannot hinder them to join a major club organization as this

will help them to enrich the college performance experience and offer

numerous personal and professional benefits. This research shall help them

realize that being in a club organization helps them for their future growth,

development, socials and opportunities.

Future Researchers. To the researchers who wish to follow and

conduct an in-depth research of this study. This will serve as a reference and

guide to where they should start.

Definition of Terms

Assessing the Effectiveness. In this study, it refers to the

measurement of the effectiveness SPCT BSBA major club organization for

the students in terms of school programs and activities, student welfare,

student discipline and improvement of school facilities. It will be measured as

very high, high, average, low, and very low.

SPCT BSBA Club Organization. In this research, it refers to the

College's Business Administration major club organization who run the

programs and platforms for the students and it will be the main study of this

research.

Chapter 2

METHOD

This chapter presented the discussion of the methods to be conducted

in the study which includes the research design, research locale, respondents

and sampling techniques, research instruments, data gathering procedure,

data analysis, and ethical considerations.

Research Design

The research design to be used in this study is a non-experimental

quantitative design specifically descriptive predictor design. This design is the

most appropriate design since the study aims to determine the effectiveness

of BSBA club organizations to the students.

According to Cooper and Schindler (2021), the descriptive predictor

design shall be used ro explore what factors predict (or have an influence on)

another variable. Because this design explores causality, the term

independent variable is used to describe the predictor variables that are

thought to predict the outcome variables (often called the dependent variable).

Respondents and Sampling Technique

The respondents of the study are Third (3rd) Year and Fourth (4th)

Year BSBA students enrolled at St. Peters College of Toril, Inc.

Universal sampling shall be sampling technique to use since the

respondent of the study are manageable in the number. According to (Avron,

2019), universal sampling can be help to achieve optimum complexity.

Research Locale

The research locale in this study be in St. Peters College of Toril, Inc. A

sectarian higher education institution run by the Presentation of Mary Sisters.

The College is one of the known higher education institutions in the City of

Davao and is situated about 17 kilometers away from the city. It offers both

basic and tertiary education offering the following tertiary courses: Bacher of

Science in Business Administration Majors on Financial Management,

Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management; Bachelor of

Science in Education, Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Research Instruments

The main instrument to be used in this study is a constructed

questionnaire for the effectiveness of bsba club organizations, whose items

will be lifted from a different compilation of review of literature (RRL). It will

also be subjected to intended consistency tests using Cronbach Alpha to test

its adaptability to the local setting.

The questionnaire shall consist of 2 parts: part 1 will be the

respondent's profile and part 2 will determine the effectiveness of bsba club

organization in school programs and activities, student's welfare, student's

discipline, and student's academic performance. A five-point Likert scale of 5.)

Strongly agree, 4.) Agree, 3.) Neutral, 2.) Disagree, and 1.) Strongly disagree

shall be used to measure the level of effectiveness of BSBA club organization.

The following range of interpretation was used to describe the obtained

mean scores in the effectiveness of bsba club organization.

Data Gathering Procedure

The following steps of procedure observed in the conduct of the study.

First, submission and approval of proposed title. Second, organization of

related literatures. Third, subjecting the adopted instrument to Cronbach

Alpha. Fourth, distribution of questionnaire. Fifth, retrieval and collation of

data. Sixth, statistical treatment of data. Seventh, presentation of results.

Data Analysis

Descriptive statistics and discriminant analysis will be used in this

study.

Mean will be used to determine respondents the effectiveness of bsba

club organization.

Discriminant analysis shall be used to separate the variable to the

highest to lowest group to determine the effectiveness of bsba club

organization. According to Ramayah (2023), regression analysis is considered

as one of the most powerful analysis when we are invested in establishing

relationships.

Ethical Considerations

The researchers strictly followed confidentiality of data gathered. The

researchers were abided with existing intellectual ways and copyrights by

citing the names of the authors whose writing were used in this study. Finally,

the researchers are honest dealing with the findings of the study.

Chapter 3

RESULTS

This chapter presents the results of the findings of the study, which

includes: the perceived level of effectiveness of BSBA club organization,

respondent’s distribution profile when analyzed according to their group level

of perception, and the discriminating variable separating the highest group

from the other groups.

Shown in Table 1 is the overall perceived level of effectiveness of

BSBA club organization. Overall results revealed that the respondent’s

perceived level of effectiveness is very high as reflected by the overall

obtained mean score of 4.25 with std dev= 0.36. This overall very high level

was brought about by the very high scores generated by the four (4)

indicators of the study namely: school program and activities, student welfare,

student’s discipline, and improvement of school facilities with obtained mean

scores of 4.54, 4.25, 4.33, and 3.87 respectively.

The first indicator of perceived level of effectiveness of BSBA club

organization is school program and activities which was described to be very

high which can be attributed generally to the very high mean scores obtained

by the five (5) item questionnaire which include: the realization of the Vision

and Mission of the College, encourage students in giving in-kind offerings for

mass activities and donations for community outreach, the orientation and re-

orientation program, involving students to school programs such as the

Vocation, Mass Activities/Intramurals, Trainings and Academic Competitions,

and preparing systematic programs and activities for the whole academic year

through action plans with obtained mean scores of 4.63, 4.54, 4.55, 4.51, and

4.45 respectively.

Moreover, the second indicator of effectiveness of BSBA club

organization is student welfare which was also described to be very high can

also be attributed to the very high and high scores generated by the five (5)

item questionnaire which are: the orientation of my rights and priveleges

through rights related seminars and symposiums, addressing my needs and

concerns, organizing and conducting academic and sports skills activities and

talents competitions in school, making the club office available to listen with

my grievances, developing training and seminars related to my safety during

calamities like earthquake, typhoons, etc with obtained mean scores of 4.28,

4.18, 4.31, 4.09, and 4.40 respectively.

Furthermore, the third indicator of effectiveness of BSBA club

organization is student discipline which is also described to be very high due

to the very high and high scores garnered by the five (5) item statement which

include: coordinating with the guidance counselors regarding student's

personal or family problems, conducting student counselling for righteous

behavior, recommending punishments for students who violate school rules

and regulation to the administration, reminding and convincing students in the

observance of order, discipline in the corridors, classrooms and library, the

implementation of the rules and regulation of the school with obtained mean

scores of 4.39, 4.36, 4.11, 4.36, and 4.46 respectively.

Finally, the last indicator of effectiveness of BSBA club organization is

improvement of school facilities which is described to be high as a result of

the high score ratings on the five (5) item questionnaire which are: cleaning

and beautifying the campus, proper utilization and maintenance of school

equipment and facilities, improving of classrooms equipment, tvs', ceiling

fans', lights and light bulbs, promoting programs with the proper disposal of

garbages, finding ways and means for the provision of needed books in the

library, laboratory rooms, etc with obtained mean scores of 3.86, 3.79, 3.63,

3.96, and 4.12 respectively.

Shown in Table 2 is the respondent’s distribution profile when

categorized according to their group level of perception effectiveness of BSBA

club organization. Results showed that there were only three (3) groups that

were identified based on their level of perception. These groups are; the very

high group, the high group, and the average group. The very high group has

56 counts or 55.40 percent, the high group have 42 counts or 41.60 percent,

and the average group with three counts or 3.00 percent.

In terms of their obtained mean scores, the very high group has an

obtained mean score of 4.49, the high group has an obtained mean score of

3.99, and the average group with mean score of 3.20 .

Variables of Effectiveness of BSBA Club Organization Separating

The cross-validation test to assess the validity of the discriminant

analysis was conducted and the hit ratio or the cross validated grouped cases

correctly classified is 96.00% original. Given the three groups of equal size, by

chance would expect a hit ratio of 1/3 or 0. 3333 or 33.33%. Thus, the above

hit ratio (96.00%) for validation is a very satisfactory validity for the analysis

sample.

Shown in Table 3 are the variables of BSBA club organization

separating the very high group from the other group using Discriminant

Analysis. Results of discriminant analysis (stepwise) on level of effectiveness

revealed that the eigenvalue associated with the first function which is 2.589

which accounted for 100.00% of the explained variance. The canonical

correlation associated with this function is 0.8490 whose square is 0.7590

indicative that 75.90% of the variance in the dependent variable (very high,

high, and average) is explained or accounted for by this model. The test of

function using Wilk’s Lambda serves as a confirmatory test whether the data

will still undergo discriminant analysis (p < 0.05). In this case, the value of

Wilks’ λ is 0.250 (p value = 0.000) which transform to a chi square of 133.645

with 8 degrees of freedom which is significant beyond 0.05 level. This

indicates that the function significantly discriminates the three (3) groups (very

high, high, and average) and contributes significantly to the group differences.

Results of the Canonical Discriminant Function Coefficient showing the

unstandardized coefficient indicated a large coefficient on all four variables:

school program and activities, student welfare, student’s discipline, and

improvement of school facilities that these variable separates the very high

group from the other groups after discriminant analysis. Hence, the model D =

- 21.691 constant + 1.018 school program and activities + 1.386 student welfare + 1.602 improvement of

school facilities has been formulated to predict the value of the discriminating

variable. This rejects the null hypothesis.

Chapter 4

DISCUSSION

This chapter presents the discussion of the results of the study. The

discussion is organized in the following order of presentation: the perceived

level of effectiveness of BSBA club organization , the respondent’s distribution

when categorized according to their group level of perception, and the

variables separating the highest categorized group from the other groups.

Perceived Level of Effectiveness of BSBA Club Organization

The overall level of perception on effectiveness of BSBA club

organization was described to be very high which implies that majority of the

respondents believe that effectiveness is very evident which therefore needs

to be sustained so as for the club organization to achieve their objectives and

contribute to school programs and activities, student welfare, student

discipline, and improvement of school facilities. Results of past studies have

shown that students at higher education institutions often expand their

The level of perception on effectiveness of BSBA club organization in

terms of school program and activities was described to be very high which

implies that the respondents evidently observed this indicator. Therefore, this

level has to be sustained since results of studies previously conducted

revealed that administrators have learned that campus activities and

organizations are a necessary part of the campus community (Lambert,

2021). In addition, faculty members embrace activities as a way of educating

their students in setting other than the traditional classroom (Fry, 2019).

Student activities officials learn to present educational programs in addition to

the standard concerts and free giveaways.

Moreover, the very high level of perception on indicator student welfare

is also indicative that the respondents very evidently observed this indicator

and therefore needs to be sustained. According to Garlejo (2022), the school's

Furthermore, the very high level of perception on indicator student

discipline is also a manifestation that that this indicator is very evidently

observed by the respondents. This also needs to be sustained in as much that

studies have shown that clubs and school leadership are considered as being

responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning and the overall

responsibility for students' behavior and discipline (Chaplain, 2020).

Furthermore, according to Sergiovanni (2019), school's student leaders and

club influences student behaviors and discipline through variety of ways in

accordance to the school vision and the objectives of the club organizations.

Finally, the high level of perception on indicator improvement of school

facilities is indicative that this indicator is evidently observed by the students.

This level also has to be sustained since school facilities generally form a part

of the properties in an organization to support occupants in achieving its goals

(Alexander, 2019). According to Schneider (2021), he emphasized that school

facilities affect learning, spatial confogurations, noise, heat, cold, light, and

and air quality obviously bear on student's and teachers ability to perform.

The Respondent’s Distribution Profile when Categorized According to

their Perceived Level of Student Satisfaction

Three categorized groups of level of perception on effectiveness of

BSBA club organization were identified based on the group’s obtained mean

scores: very high group, high and the average group. Majority of the

respondents belong to the very high-level group. This profile seemed to be a

very satisfactory picture of the perception on effectiveness of BSBA club

organization and therefore has to be sustained.

Variables of Effectiveness of BSBA Club Organization Separating the

Highest Categorized Group from the other Group Levels and

Implications

All four variables under study were identified to separate the very high

level group from the other groups and these variables are: school programs

and activities, student welfare, student discipline, and improvement of school

facilities. This implies that the high and average group needs improvement on

these variables in order for them to become a member of the very high group.

The school officials concerned should develop short and long term planning

programs that could sustain these factors so as to maximize the club

organizational effectiveness.

As pointed out in some studies, the effectiveness of major clubs in schools

and universities are associated to the developed program and platforms of the

club student leaders and the student affairs (Zyra, 2019).

Above result also supports the theoretical frameworks used in this

study which is the Gacutan (2022), wherein he said that leaders of different

student organizations in every campus played very important roles to perform

for school enhancement. They are considered as a powerful vigor of human

resources that the school taps for instruction as well as in school organization.

This is very true to students for they are considered as the most important

element of the educational community. As young as they are, students are

aware of the many problems that confront their school life and their future.

Hence, they should have the initiatives to offer solutions to such problems

thereby giving them chances to execute their plans and mobilize their works

within their capabilities because of their desire to facilitate student’s

development and help improve the prestige of the school they belong.

Conclusions

In general, the respondents very evidently observed the effectiveness

of BSBA club organization in terms of school programs and activities, student

welfare, student discipline, and improvement of school facilities. All four

indicators of effectiveness of club organizations were found to be the

variables separating the highest categorized group from the high group.

Recommendations

The following recommendations are hereby recommended based on the

findings and conclusions of the study’

1. A regular maintenance shall be established for improvement of

school facilities including classrooms, laboratories, libraries, ceiling

fans, tv monitors, computer laboratories, light bulbs and other

school facilities.

2. The school shall give enough access to meet students expectations

with regards on using computer laboratories and wifi connectivity.

3. A sustainability program focusing on of school programs and

activities, student welfare, student discipline, and improvement of

school facilities, must be developed for the club moderators and

officers to continuously provide effectiveness for club organizations.

4. Researchers can use this study as their future reference when

assessing the effectiveness of club organization, this will also

serves as their basis on identifying what factors that the students

need to be consistently active and associated to the clubs.

5. Benchmarking activities among successful universities and colleges

must be conducted to adopt their best practices and applied in the

school.
