Core Drill

A core drill, also known as a diamond drill or diamond core drill, is a specialized tool used to
create holes in various materials, such as concrete, stone, metal, or glass. It is commonly used in
construction, engineering, and geological exploration. Unlike regular drills that typically use a rotating
drill bit to remove material, a core drill uses a diamond-tipped cutting edge to grind and remove a
cylindrical core from the material. This method allows for precise and clean holes with a larger diameter.

Rebound Hammer

A rebound hammer, also known as a Schmidt hammer or concrete test hammer, is a handheld
instrument used to assess the compressive strength or hardness of concrete and other masonry
materials. It provides a non-destructive method of estimating the strength of concrete in situ. The
rebound hammer operates on the principle of measuring the rebound of a spring-loaded mass impacting
the concrete surface. When the hammer is pressed against the surface, a spring is compressed, and
upon release, it strikes the concrete, causing the hammer to rebound. The rebound distance is then
measured using a scale or digital display on the instrument.
Circumferential extensometers

Circumferential extensometers are devices used to measure changes in the circumference or

diameter of a cylindrical or tubular specimen. They are commonly employed in material testing,
particularly in the evaluation of mechanical properties and deformation characteristics of materials such
as metals, plastics, composites, and concrete.

Specimen grinding machine

A specimen grinding machine, also known as a specimen grinder or grinding/polishing machine,

is a specialized equipment used in material testing and sample preparation. It is designed to prepare flat,
smooth, and accurately sized specimens for further analysis, examination, or characterization
Concrete slump test

The concrete slump test is a widely used test to assess the consistency and workability of fresh
concrete. It measures the deformation or "slump" of a concrete sample when subjected to a specific
amount of compaction.
