confirmed as
the artistic
director of the
Venice Film
Festival in Italy
for the eighth
year in a row.
 The festival will therefore
continue in the same spirit,
always maintaining a high
spirit of competitiveness
towards other autumn film
events, but without altering
its true nature of capturing
the current world of cinema
in all its facets...
The result? The Film Festival in
Venice has proven to be able to
renew itself, revitalizing its
spaces and its program to

The 77th Venice Film Festival
is meant to symbolize a much
longed-for celebration of a new
beginning after the difficult
pause caused by the Covid-19
pandemic.
The Venice Film
Festival 2020 will be

festival to open its

world of cinema
which was extremely
affected by the crisis.
