My Most Favorite Fairy Tale

To the board of judges, teachers, ladies and gentlemen good _____. My name is
_____________. My nickname is ________. I am a student in Mattayom ______ at Anurajaprasit
School. Today, I would like to tell you about my most favorite fairy tale.

(I've been staring at the edge of the water …Long as I can remember, never really knowing
why… I wish I could be the perfect daughter ..But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I
try…) sing this part.

Moana is a fairy tale princess who shows a brave and strong character. Here we have a heroine
who champions the ideas of hope, compassion, and bravery. This is what I love most in this tale.
The character of Moana is similar from the Disney princesses, who have showed so much
empathy. She is a model of inspiration. Moana has the characteristic of Ariel, longing to get out
from her world even she has to pass with difficult and daring situations just to save her people.
She is as fierce as Mulan, believing it is her duty to solve the curse experience by her tribe. She
has the wisdom of Pocahontas, who has knowledge and principles in many areas. And, of
course, she also like Cinderella because her story tells us that the ocean chose her because of
her kindness and perseverance to overcome trials.

While growing up Moana expresses the object of her longing such as adventure, meaning, and
freedom. She is the child of the leader of the island so she is loved by all, especially by her
grandmother. She does heroic actions just like the demigod ancestor named Maui.

Maui becomes the companion of Moana. They form a special bond. She teaches him to think
about others and be generous because Moana realizes that he’s an extremely self-centered
while Maui helps her how to navigate the waters and sheltering her from all the troubles along the
way. He motivates Moana to fix the curse experience by his tribe by returning the heart of the
goddess.

Of course, a fairy tale must always have a villain: it is part of the nature of a story that has good
and evil. The Lava-witch who transforms into an evil creature as a revenge of mother nature to
Maui as he steals the heart of goddess Te Fiti. But after the heart of the goddess has finally
returned it transforms in bloom and get rid of the curse.

There are life moral lessons I have learned from this fairy tale. First, some
Boundaries are meant to be broken: The island that Moana lives on forbids anyone
from venturing past the reef because of its’ great danger. This scene could inspire us
to push through whatever’s holding us back, whether it may be our own fear of
moving forward or what other people might think.

Second, having patience is always beneficial: Patience is the key to happiness. For
example, Moana must find enough patience to learn how to sail, patience in Maui who
doesn’t trust her at first, and patience throughout her entire journey. When a lot of
people see this, especially us, I think it will help us realize that mistakes are a part of
our journey through life, and some things require patience before success.

Lastly, Moana fairytale teaches us to love the mother nature. It is important that we should know
not to abuse the gift given to us. We should learn to be contented of what we have and who we
are.

Thank you for listening.
