aims to create a better future for the country.

VISION
The vision of the Philippine Development Plan is to create a nation where every
Filipino can thrive and live a dignified life. It envisions a society that is prosperous,
equitable, and environmentally sustainable, with no one left behind. The vision
statement reflects the desired future state of the country and sets the overarching
goal for development.

MISSION
The mission of the Philippine Development Plan is to promote inclusive economic
growth, social progress, and environmental sustainability. It aims to achieve this
mission by implementing effective policies, programs, and partnerships. The mission
statement highlights the purpose and approach of the plan, emphasizing the
importance of creating an enabling environment for holistic development.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Claire Camille M. Delos Reyes is an 18-year-old, first-year college student taking up


a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Mindoro State University. She
graduated from Felimon M. Salcedo Senior Memorial National High School. She was
born on May 02, 2005, and she currently live in Malamig, Salcedo, Bansud, Oriental
Mindoro. During her younger years, Claire used to work part-time jobs on days when
she didn’t have school. She took on these jobs to gain practical experience, earn
extra money, and develop valuable skills. Some of the part-time jobs she had
included working as a service crew at a local restaurant and as a saleslady in a
bakery.

Claire has a variety of hobbies that bring her joy and fulfillment. She enjoys drawing,
sketching, and cooking. In her leisure time, she also likes watching K-dramas and
anime, as well as playing online games. These hobbies allow her to express her
creativity, relax, and engage in enjoyable activities.

Claire’s strength and motivation come from her family and her faith in God. They
inspire her to work hard and study diligently. She firmly believes in her ability to
overcome challenges and obstacles that come her way. With the support of her
loved ones and her unwavering determination, Claire is confident in her capacity to
succeed in any endeavor she pursues.

INTRODUCTION
The Philippine economy has shown resilience and potential for growth in recent
years. However, it still faces challenges such as income inequality, poverty,
unemployment, and environmental degradation. Despite these challenges, the
country possesses immense opportunities for development. The introduction section

inequality, and environmental sustainability, providing a comprehensive

Additionally, the plan emphasizes the strengthening of micro, small, and medium
