Hot Topic: Bombing at Indonesian Police Station

I choose Terror and Suicide Attacks as my topic report because last week, there was a
suicide bombing in my hometown Indonesia. In my opinion, this is not in accordance with
Islamic teachings and Islam does not teach committing crimes, but not everyone thinks that
way. They maybe curious that actually is terrorism approved by Islamic teaching or not.
Politicians, nationalists, religious extremists, revolutionaries, and even state institutions like
the armed forces, intelligence agencies, and police have all engaged in acts of terrorism.
The goal of terrorism is to instill fear among a large audience as well as its direct
victims through the use of violence or the threat of violence. All of the people in the
globe are extremely frightened by this movement. Anyone can become their victim
because their victims are not limited by age or gender. I chose this subject in order to
learn more about how Islam views the terrorism and suicide bombings that pose a threat
to world peace, in order to avoid being misinterpreted. In addition to explaining the
Islamic viewpoint on terrorism, conflict, and suicide bombings, it also provides us with a
basic understanding of Islam so that we won't continually misinterpret the information
that the media keeps reporting.
The media frequently uses the words "Islam" and "Terrorism" in the same
sentence. This frequently causes us, the average people who are not Islamists, to become
confused. So, does Islam's teaching on terror actually exist? Islam teaches its followers
that murdering is not acceptable. Even in times of conflict, no one has the right to kill an
innocent human being. Even suicide bombers are not authorized since they can murder
other innocent people. No one is allowed to enter a gathering while carrying a bomb on
their body. Because some immature Muslims lack any other means of interpreting Islam,
they utilize this to draw others into conflicts for their own gain. No one can kill another
person in order to enter heaven. God’s approval cannot be won by killing His creation.
One of the most important goals for a Muslim is to win the approval of God. It’s clear
that nobody can declare war even if you are an organization or even they are scholars
that are very famous. The rules of peace and war in Islam are clearly set out.

Some terrorists refer to their actions as jihad. Jihad, which is a type of worship, is the
word given in Islam to every effort, exertion, and perseverance that a Muslim makes in order
to win God's approval. Jihad may occasionally take the form of an armed conflict if Muslims
are attacked or suspect an attack is coming. Similar to how the Prophet never attacked merely
on the grounds of denying the oneness of God, all of his military actions were aimed at either
halting an attack or stopping such attacks while they were still being planned. Even the
aspects of war in jihad are subject to laws, such as treating the enemy with mercy, forbidding
torture, respecting the enemy's dead, refraining from attacking civilians and innocent targets,
not pursuing innocent Muslims, complying to the chain of command, providing humanitarian
aid to the enemy, and only using force as a last resort. In conclusion, jihad cannot be defined
as the killing, torturing, and kidnapping of God's creation or the activities of suicide bombers
when no legitimate authority is to blame. Muslims would never engage in such a violent type
of fight to express their opinions.
There are no religions that support terrorism. A crime against humanity, terrorism.
Islam holds that God created humanity in its purest form and nature as a sacred creation.
Therefore, killing is prohibited, and God's gift of life cannot be taken away. Nobody has
the right to commit suicide or cause self-destruction. Additionally, it is believed that God
has a right to life and that humans cannot provide this right. Islam absolutely forbids
killing the sacred creation of God, which includes destroying buildings and temples and
burning trees down..

One of the most significant values and the greatest gift from God is life. Both the Torah
and the Qur'an consider murder to be a serious sin and crime. The real punishment for those
who believe is what awaits them in the afterlife. Therefore, the prospect of being punished for
taking someone's life in the afterlife fills a believer with dread and dissuades them from even
attempting to consider such an action.

Islamic law prohibits all forms of terror, including suicide bombings. Islam stands for
tranquility, safety, and soundness. Islam therefore views peace as being crucial. People who
declare war are already opposed to Islam's spirit. In Islam, it is severely forbidden to kill
people. It is untrue if some terrorists identify as Muslims and claim that blowing themselves
up in crowded places will allow them to enter Heaven. Simply put, mature Muslims do not
seek to be heard.
Now I see that it is crazy for somebody to desire to murder themselves in order to
be a martyr. As opposed to letting yourself be killed without making an effort to survive, it
is preferable to struggle to succeed or to live for the greater good. In Islam, even non-
believers are protected. Muslims should not take pride in fighting, hence Islam has laws
and restrictions on it. Except for individuals who actively engage in combat as soldiers, it is
forbidden to kill someone who is innocent.
Islam is therefore not what the public believes. Similar to what other religions teach,
killing someone or anything that God created is not acceptable. Because, in Islam, God created
humans as a precious being. Therefore, killing innocent people—including children, women,
and non-believers—means you too don't value God's creation.
