Jairo: Hello Luis, my name is Jairo López, welcome to the interview for the

scholarship abroad, please, can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?

Luis: Good afternoon Mr. López, my name is Luis Alonso Más Velásquez, I am
nineteen years old. I am from Peru, I am currently in the 5th cycle of my Law
degree, I am among the top 5 positions in the entire cycle and waiting to
continue my studies at your university. I would like to obtain a scholarship
abroad.

Jairo: Well, first of all, why do you think you deserve this scholarship?

Luis: Growing up I learned that this is not easy. There are some
accomplishments that I am proud of, but what I am most proud of is my
progress in college. It's been going pretty well for me and I'm trying to prepare
myself for life.

Jairo: What do you hope to learn in the program you have chosen? What
countries have you traveled to?

Luis: I have chosen to study Law but I am doing an interview to learn about
digital marketing because that will be the future. And I didn't travel to any
country.

Jairo: If you haven't been abroad yet, where would you travel if you had the
chance? An way?

Luis: I'm going to Canada because it's the best place to learn about the digital
push I need, to get small industries and be someone that everyone recognizes.

Jairo: Who would support you financially during your studies?

Luis: My relatives are people who worked hard to have their own company in
the country and would be sponsoring my education and my living expenses
during my studies.

Jairo: Well, in that case I would like to ask you some additional questions. What
is your definition of failure?

Luis: I define failure as the situation in which the expectations of the person, the
school or the educators are not met.
Jairo: How do you handle deadlines or multiple tasks?

Luis: I make sure I have a positive outlook on the task at hand and then write a
plan on how to execute it and meet the deadline. I understand the importance of
deadlines.

Jairo: But what happens if you can't complete the allotted time? Wouldn't you
present the works? What would you do?

Luis: If I cannot meet the deadline, I will humbly ask for an extension.

Jairo: Okay, those are good answers. Where do you see yourself in seven
years? and because?

Luis: In seven years I see myself as CEO of a technology company or working

for the best. companies in the world as director of an entire executive team

Jairo: And tell me, do you practice any sports?

Luis: Of course, I play a lot of soccer and I have participated in different

championships.

Jairo: Do you like vegetables or what kind of food?

Luis: I have a balanced diet; I consume plenty of vegetables and also plenty of
carbohydrates. Have a good lifestyle and health.

Jairo: In that case, do you have any questions for me?

Luis: Yes, of course, of course. What are my chances of getting a scholarship?

Jairo: You are one of the best students at this university but over time there are
many people who want the scholarship.

Luis: This interview is only necessary to obtain a scholarship abroad or do I

need to send an essay where I can explain in more detail all the achievements
obtained throughout my short life.
