ANALYSIS

1. The number six art is somewhat similar to the Philippine traditional art that usually colourful and
is full of tradition and culture. The Philippine art that I have grown to know and see is the art
which is on the colourful side and is always depicting an image of a woman in a traditional dress
on a field, smiling. Just from that I understand that our art is giving us a picture of where our
culture is from and it looked before all modern things.
2. A. Sotein – It is on the ugly side and has the measure of eight being scary with a description of
glooms and fears.
B. Hirst – His art is on the ugly side with a measure of thirteen being rustic with a description of
glooms and awes.
C. Kalo – it is on the ugly side and the measure is ten being bizarre with a description of glooms
and entertains.

ASSESSMENT

1. Our festivities are definitely world class and is surely unique. The reason why it is world class is
because in our festivals even without any context you can still feel the tradition and culture of
the place for example the “Dinagyang Festival” of Iloilo City, the concept of the festival itself
unique, so much that it even gained the support of the United Nations.

REFLECTION

1. I have tried the horror vacui on my notebook using a brush and using coffe as a medium since it
is what I think the hardest art for me because of my lack in techniques. I have tried it out and as
I suspected it was difficult because horror vacui arts may seem easy because all you see is arts or
drawing that fit in spaces perfectly but, when tried out the part where you have to fit every
drawing in every spaces is the hardest part for me.
