 STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY
The warranty contains certain rights and obligations that pertain to Eurotire branded off-the-road (OTR) tires purchased
from Eurotire, Inc. or an authorized dealer. Please review these rights and obligations carefully.
DEFINITION
An OTR tire is a listed product on the Eurotire OTR product list.
This list is available online at www.eurotire.net.
ELIGIBILITY
OTR tires bearing the Eurotire trademark and with a complete
serial number molded in the sidewall are warranted to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials within the
manufacturer's control. If an examination by an authorized
Eurotire representative shows that any such tire failed as a
result of a condition under the control of the manufacturer, it
will, at the option of Eurotire, either be repaired at no charge,
or replaced with a new Eurotire product, discounted on a pro-
rata basis for the hours obtained on the original tire. This
warranty coverage is for tires used within published designed
specifications for Eurotire tires. Any use outside such
specifications automatically voids this warranty. See
www.eurotire.net or contact your Eurotire Field Engineer for
specifications.
WARRANTY TIME PERIOD AND DURATION
This warranty applies to Eurotire OTR tires for a period of four
years from invoice date against defects in workmanship or
materials. Should no invoice be available, the manufacturing
date located in the serial number will be used. If during the
four-year period the tire fails due to defects in workmanship or
materials, the tire will be adjusted according to the mine site
average hours of competitive bias ply tires operating under
similar conditions as confirmed by a tire tracking program or
other credible data bases. This warranty is exclusive of any
tread wear or cost per hour guarantees. Such pro-rata credit
must be applied toward the purchase price in effect at the time
of adjustment of a new Eurotire OTR tire. Tires purchased prior
to January 1st 2010 will be subject to the pre-existing warranty.
LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
All OTR tire warranties are subject to the following exclusions:
All limited warranties of Eurotire are limited to the
original purchaser and are not assignable to subsequent
purchasers, except where explicitly authorized by
Eurotire.
Costs of dismounting, mounting following pro-rated
replacement, repair of tires, disposal, applicable taxes,
and other fees are not covered by warranties.
Warranties do not cover any tire which is operated
above its ton-mile-per-hour or ton-kilometer-per-hour
(TMPH/TKPH) rating during any given cycle, which is
defined as one round-trip haul length.
Warranties do not cover any tire which is operated
above its maximum payload rating on any haul.
In addition, warranties do not cover damage resulting from
misuse, improper mounting, misapplication, use of non-
approved rims, improper inflation, running flat, misalignment
or imbalance of wheels/rims, defective brakes or shock
absorbers, abuse, willful damage, oil, chemical action, fire or
other externally-generated heat, water or other material
entrapped inside during the tire mounting, vehicle damage or
road hazards (such as rock cuts, punctures, cut separations,
impacts, flex breaks).
Claims for irregular wear are not covered.
Warranty applies to original usable tread depth. Any
modification to the tire voids all warranties.
Any material added to the tire (tire fill, sealer, balancer,
etc.) is not covered by this warranty and will not be
compensated for in case of credit being issued for the
tire. Use of a solid type fill voids all warranties.
Any costs associated with the repair of tires are not
covered unless previously approved by Eurotire.
ALL OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED,
INCLUDING LOSS OF USE OF VEHICLE AND LOSS OF TIME.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY.
No Eurotire dealer or reseller has the authority to make or
imply any representation, promise or agreement which in any
way varies or extends the terms of this warranty.
