    Day of The Seafarer (DOTS) 2023 Carnival at Marina, Putrajaya.

    In 2023, the Day of The Seafarer (DOTS) celebration was held in the form of a two-
    day carnival from June 24th until June 25th, 2023, at Marina, Putrajaya. The theme
    for DOTS 2023 was aligned with the #OceanWorthProtecting campaign initiated by
    the International Maritime Organization (IMO). On June 24th, 2023, Mr. Kitack Lim,
    the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), attended as
    a special guest and also launched the Tugs of Boat competition. On June 25th, 2023,
    YB Tuan Anthony Loke, the Minister of Transport, officiated the Day of The Seafarer
    (DOTS) Carnival 2023. Various interesting activities were organized throughout the
    carnival, including an maritime industry exhibition, children's activities such as
    colouring contests, lucky draws, career talks, seafarer forums, and mini treasure
    hunt. Most of the visitors who attended the carnival were not only from the
    maritime industry but also public who residing in and around Putrajaya.
