BUSINESS NEED

Chris Salon's current appointment system relies on phone calls and walk-ins, leading
to several drawbacks: limited availability, inefficiency, missed appointments, and
unpredictable customer volume. This results in lost revenue and difficulty managing staff and
inventory. To address these issues, Chris Salon needs an online appointment system that
offers 24/7 booking, automates scheduling, reduces missed appointments, improves customer
experience, and allows for better resource allocation and inventory management.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

1. Functionality

• Accessibility: Client and Staff can access the spreadsheets on the


google sheet. Client accessibility is limited only to entering their personal information
such as name and contact number, choose what service to avail, and can cancel
appointments anytime. Staff can access and edit client information, add new clients,
manage client preferences, and communicate with clients directly.

• Mobile accessibility: The system shall be accessible from mobile devices.


This system uses Google sheets that is accessible through mobile devices.

• Automated reminders: The system should send automatic appointment


reminders to clients via email and text message.

• Reporting: The system should generate reports on appointments,


revenue, and staff performance through Google sheets.

 Holiday Booking Adjustment: Adjust booking slots or appointment duration for


peak holiday periods.
 Holiday Booking Gift cards: Implement a Gift cards that can be use during
holiday season.
 Waiting List Section: Incase of services being fully booked, clients can apply their
names on the waiting list section.
 Feedback Section: For clients to offer their suggestions, express their experiences,
and give their feedback.
