ANIMAL INTRODUCTION DEBATE: THE HUNGARIAN PARTRIDGE

INTRODUCTION:
Mr. Prey is challenging you with overseeing the introduction of the Hungarian Partridge into two states.
The Missouri and Montana State Fish and Game Departments are attempting to introduce this game bird
into their respective states. It is not known if these birds can survive and reproduce over a long period
of time. You must determine which state is most suitable for the bird and inform Game Warden Prey.

REQUIREMENTS:
On graph paper, you are going to construct 3 polygons on 1 graphing scale. The polygons are:
1. the usual limit of tolerance for the the bird,
2. the climatic conditions for Missouri, and
3. the climatic conditions for Montana.
First, plot the points for the usual limit of tolerance and connect all the points. Then, do the same for the
Missouri and Montana data. Next, shade in each polygon with a different color. You should have 3
polygons, each a different color. Label the three polygons appropriately.

Average Monthly Temperature (oF) goes on Y axis and Precipitation (inches) goes on X axis. Write the
appropriate month (write it very small & abbreviate) next to each plotted dot:
