Abstract
In Indonesia, corruption has put social, national, and state lives at risk. Significant financial
losses have also been caused by corruption to the state's economy, society, and culture.
Furthermore, because of criminality, the corruption act inevitably brought about social changes.
This article's primary focus is on observing and analyzing the social developments associated
with the corruption act. The article also outlines the steps the Indonesian government has
attempted to mitigate the negative effects that corruption has on society. This paper employs
normative legal research, a prescriptive analytical method, to evaluate community involvement
in anti-corruption initiatives using a conceptual, statutory, and case-based approach.
Keywords: corruption, Indonesian Government, community involvement
Introduction
In a time characterized by digital connectedness and information exchange, social media has
become an indispensable instrument for bringing people together globally, creating change,
increasing consciousness, and igniting group initiatives. A global problem that affects societies
all over the world, corruption is one that requires our attention as a group as well as our
collective action. This article presents a social media marketing project that aims to combat
corruption head-on, and it is a compelling and timely attempt.
Corruption is a widespread evil that stifles socioeconomic advancement, steals essential
resources, erodes public confidence in institutions, and prolongs inequity. The fight against
corruption is a continuous struggle that affects people from all walks of life in nations like
Indonesia and many others. The goal of this social media campaign effort is to give voice to
people who are fed up with the status quo, want to see change, and are committed to exposing
the unethical behavior that impedes advancement.
Our social media campaign project is leading our people to help to realize Indonesian citizens by
educating and teaching them the knowledge about the danger and the falsehood of corruption.
We are planning to be spreading awareness to people all around Indonesia by hopefully being
able to reach them out with the use of social media and getting their interest Into reading our
posts and posters that we have planned as a project for us to work on with the anticipating the
thousands of people on social media to be gathered to be able to raise our voices throughout our
campaign.
Discussion
Below is a flow-diagram of our process on how we brought up our project:

For our project, we have decided to create a poster that we will be sharing and uploading on
social media platforms such as Instagram and tiktok. These are a few of our posters below which
are the examples that we have finalized to be published soon on social media:

These kinds of posters are the ones that represent as manual slideshows that is usually found on
our Instagram and TikTok feed. We chose these two social media platforms for our topic to be
shared about because, according to our research, besides the fact that the two are among the most
popular social media platforms out there, TikTok and Instagram are also known for one
particular aspect: they're both visual-based platforms. People go to these social media channels
to engage with videos or photos and share cool content with their peers.
When sharing corruption awareness on Instagram, our main focus should be to engage, educate,
and inspire our audience to take action against corruption. Here are key points to emphasize that
we have mentioned on our posters: What is corruption in definition, examples of Corruption,
Why Corruption in Indonesia must be stopped, Challenges and consequences in fighting
corruption, the status of economic growth of Indonesia affected by corruption, What can we do
to stop corruption and a little tagline to motivate the youth to face the corruption. Corruption had
been such a big problem from such a long time ago. The nationalization of Dutch and foreign
companies in Indonesia in 1958 was seen as the starting point for the development of corruption
in Indonesia. General AH Nasution's efforts to prevent chaos by placing the nationalized
companies under the Martial Law Authority actually gave rise to corruption within the TNI. We
have to realize that people with higher ranks and grounds would always use their positions as
benefits for themselves to be able to always increase their amount of incomes whether it is
ethical or not, and corruption is one of the examples that tend to be happening from the 1950’s
up until now. Corruption is also indirectly putting a bad name for politicians in Indonesia itself,
by making many people in this country choosing to not participate in political votes because of a
mindset that people like them would only have “lip-service” and not actual action and change
that they can make to this country. This is really dangerous because the youth are the ones that
will be leading the country in the future and we all have to unite and understand the situation of
this country and considering themselves to come up with solutions to be able to resolve the
corruption cases in Indonesia.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the social, national, and economic foundation of Indonesia has suffered greatly as
a result of widespread and harmful corruption. Because corruption is so common and has caused
large financial losses and social changes, it is a serious problem that requires cooperation from
all parties. This piece emphasizes how crucial social media is as a tool for spreading awareness
and fighting corruption. Through the use of visual channels such as Instagram and TikTok, the
campaign hopes to inspire, inform, and involve the people in taking action against corruption.
Understanding the historical causes of corruption in Indonesia as well as the necessity of
openness and moral leadership, particularly in the political elite, is crucial. The nation's kids are
essential in determining the course of the country, and their involvement
