    INT.

    KAI’S BEDROOM – (LATE AFTERNOON)- CLOSE UP

    THE CAMERA IS FOCUSED on KAI’S phone as we wait for the alarm


    to sound. Once we hear the alarm kai slowly gets up and puts
    his glasses on, he turns the alarm off and the CAMERA CUTS to
    him lying there thinking about his day and what he is going to
    get up to today.

    KAI is a 17-year-old boy who is suffering from social anxiety.


    He has brown afro like hair and wears glasses. He is quiet and
    doesn’t have any friends.

    THE CAMERA CUTS to a full view of kai’s room as he gets up out


    of bed and walks out of frame. The camera is then cut to kai
    walking past and into the bathroom. We then see him washing
    his face and getting ready for the day.

    He walks downstairs and walks into the kitchen opening the


    fridge door, he stares at it for a bit before closing it and
    walking away from the kitchen. CAMERA CUTS to the sofa, kai
    sits down and stares at the window nodding as he decides he’s
    going to go out today. As he exits the house, we see the title
    ‘Social Anxiety’ appear on the screen.

    CAMERA CUTS

    EXT. OUTSIDE KAI’S HOUSE –AFTERNOON- WIDE SHOT

    Kai has his hood up and pulls his phone, THE CAMERA PANS down
    to his phone and we see he is on Spotify. He clicks on the
    song ‘Blinded by your grace’ storzmy. The audio is played in
    the background.

    Camera cuts to kai walking to a nearby park and we see him on


    the fields near his house. The music is still playing, and kai
    is walking whilst looking at the ground.

    CAMERA CUTS
    Kai’s music stops and A close up of ‘No ID Caller’ appears on
    his phone screen. He answers and a voice speaks on the other
    end.

    Kai
    Who’s this?

    The voice on the other end answers

    Voice
    It’s Charlie from school.

    Kai
    Oh, Charlie from school?

    Charlie
    I got you number from someone…
    How are you doing? you okay?

    Kai
    Yeah, I’m okay…suffering with anxiety.
    Right now…I don’t really want to talk to anyone.

    Kai goes to hang up the phone, he gets up and leaves the park.

    CAMERA CUTS

    ‘A few days later’ appears on the screen.


    EXT. ON THE STREET – (AFTERNOON) – WIDE SHOT

    We see Charlie walking and kai walking to each other. Charlie


    stops and speaks to kai as he recognizes him.

    Charlie
    Is that you kai?

    KAI nods and is a bit taken back Charlie speaks again.

    Charlie
    It’s Charlie from school…remember?
    You alright?

    Kai
    Yeah, I’m good…but I got to go bye.

    Charlie
    Are you sure mate…

    CAMERA CUTS TO ENDING CREDITS

    END.
