Overview
This guide describes Respond product features that are for internal Aptean use only.

Hiding features in the SaaS environment

In Server Manager there is now a new advanced option in Web Application Properties (accessed
via the ‘\advancedsettings’ command line switch), called ‘EnableSaaSEnvironment’. When this
option is enabled the File Storage section of Database Options in Configuration Manager will not
be displayed. This will prevent customers from changing paths when this should only be done by
the SaaS team as it is specific to the environment/infrastructure.

In order to manage the File Storage options when the ‘EnableSaaSEnvironment’ option is set you
can add the ‘/saasconfig’ command line option when starting Configuration Manager.

Forcing Forms authentication in Configuration Manager

It is now possible to force Forms authentication to be used for logging into Configuration Manager
regardless of the authentication mode set in Server Manager. When starting Configuration
Manager add the ‘/formsauth’ command line option.
