Contractor to Tender
To qualify as a contractor to
tender, there are several
factors that need to be
considered;
1. Experience and Expertise:
The contractor must have relevant
experience and expertise in the field of
work they are bidding for. This could
include technical knowledge, project
management skills, and specialized
certifications.
2. Financial Capacity:
The contractor must have the financial
capacity to undertake the project. This
includes having sufficient cash flow to
complete the work, adequate
resources, and financial stability.
3. Capacity to Mobilize:
The contractor must have the
capacity to mobilize resources such
as manpower, equipment, and
materials required for the project.
4. Legal Requirements:
The contractor must meet all the legal
requirements and regulations set out
by the governing bodies in the region
where the work will be carried out.
This could include licensing and
permits, insurance, and compliance
with health and safety regulations.
4.1 Registered with Lembaga
Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan
Malaysia (LPIPM) or CIDB:

a.Perakuan Pendaftaran Kontraktor

(PPK)

b.Sijil Perolehan Kerja Kerajaan

(SPKK)
a. Perakuan Pendaftaran Kontraktor (PPK)
Each contractor is registered according to:
i. Grade (G1 – G7)
ii. Category (CE/B/ME/F)
iii. Specialization (refer next pages’ table)
iv. Classification (new/active/dormant)

• Sijil Perolehan Kerja Kerajaan (SPKK)
 Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK)
c. Sijil Taraf Bumiputera (STB)

• Ensure that Bumiputera contractors who carry

out government projects are genuine and
active Bumiputera contractors and meet the
conditions outlined in government
procurement.
• The recognition of STB by PKK is issued after
the company successfully renews its PPK and
SPKK from CIDB
