Aim of the course
To provide students with knowledge in the fields of business mathematics and statistics encompassing
theories and applications in various business decision making environments.
Intended learning outcomes
At the successful completion of this course students should be able to:
• Evaluate the importance of mathematical and statistical applications in business decision making.
• Explain the applicable mathematical and statistical concepts for a given business problem.
• Interpret the results generated from various mathematical and statistical applications.
• Forecast future trends in business based on historical data.
