Aim of the course
To provide students with knowledge in the field of management information systems encompassing theories
and practices applicable in different types of organizational setups.
Intended learning outcomes
At the successful completion of this course students should be able to:
• Evaluate the importance of information systems in different organizational setups.
• Explain the role of organizational culture in the successful implementation of information systems.
• Analyze the different E-business models and recommend a suitable one for a given organizational
setup.
• Develop a DBMS to match with the needs of an organization.
