Culminating Learning Activity 2

Activity : Caring for Others’ Day

Mechanics:

1. Within the endterm period the students are expected to do “Caring for
Others’ Day” activity focusing on the utilities personnel of the university as
the target beneficiaries.
2. There will be 5 members per group throughout the activity.
3. The group is expected to conduct an “act of kindness” to the utility services
personnel of the University.
4. They will document the whole process of the activity through
video/photograph as a media platform provided informed consent has
been asked from the target beneficiaries.
5. They will submit a copy of the video with label to their professor.
6. They will submit the following:
A. Reflection/insights of the group to the activity
- Doing the said activity, what did you feel?
- What are your realizations?
B. Portfolio (documenting the activity)
Give a brief description.
Include the reactions of the recipient/s.

you read here before your portfolio are due.

 The student has formatted and arranged

 The students were able to conduct simple
survey to the target beneficiaries
 The students were able to conduct “act of
kindness activity” to the utility service
personnel of the university
 What’s your insight about the activity?
  Give at least one or two scenarios where
you can apply this insights in your real life
situations
 What are you planning to do after doing
this activity?
Timeliness (10%)  The students must submit the portfolio
within the midterm examination period.
 Students who failed to submit on the said
date will incur deductions from their total
score
 A deduction of 2 points will made each day
after the deadline of the portfolio
