Level: Continuation of Research in Daily Life 1

Course Description: A continuation from previous Research in Daily Life 1 subject handled in Grade 11. Generally, this course develops critical thinking and
problem-solving skills through quantitative research. On the first half, the course will continue the unfinished manuscript of the students
from Research in Daily Life 1 that was put on hold due to COVID-19 pandemic. RDL 1 should culminate by the students having their
proposal defense presenting Chapter 1-3.The second half, begins with finding answer to the problems of the researches through data
collection and analysis. The course is designed to help students understand the nature and characteristics of research, types of research,
elements of research process, and continue the research proposal done in the first semester through learning by doing. It focuses on the
provision of grouped consultation for the final preparation of the research manuscript.
Culminating Outcome: Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to utilize the knowledge learned and apply the attitude and skills gained from the
discussion to produce a competent research proposal defense. The course culminates with the research proposal defense and data
collection at the end of the semester.
